FLORIDA—Legacy Christian Church—a vibrant, active, growing church family of about 250-plus in Lakeland, Fla.—is seeking a family minister to help strengthen the commitment to connecting families into the church, supporting parents, and leading children and teens to follow Jesus Christ. The family minister position is full-time and salaried. At LCC, the family minister serves as the church’s youth minister, but also is responsible for overseeing the church’s children’s programming. PENNSYLVANIA—The Greensburg (PA) Church of Christ is looking for a mission-minded individual to serve as a part-time evangelist. The church, which was started in 1974, has a membership of about 30, ranging from the very young to older shut-ins. The church desires to grow spiritually, individually, relationally, and in number. The church is looking for an evangelist to primarily teach and preach on Sunday mornings and to teach on Wednesday evenings. The selected evangelist ideally will lead and help develop the talent and abilities among the men of the congregation, conduct outreach and evangelize the lost, and aid in the strengthening and growth of the congregation. GEORGIA—Burnt Hickory Church of Christ is looking for a youth minister with a passion to see young people meet Jesus and engage his mission right where they are. The church, located in Marietta, Ga., just northwest of Atlanta, averages 250 each Sunday. The ideal candidate will be married, have three to five years of relevant ministry experience, and have at least a bachelor’s degree in ministry or a related field. JANUARY 2023 POSTINGS

INDIANA—The Versailles (IN) Church of Christ is seeking a full-time, Restoration preacher. The close-knit congregation of about 50 people does not presently have elders or deacons. The church is looking for a minister who is humble, knowledgeable, and grounded in the truth of God’s Word and has the zeal and passion to proclaim it. He needs to believe in and stand on God’s plan for salvation. The new minister should be someone who loves the Bible, seeks to study and grow from it, and can relate to people of all ages. He will be expected to preach on Sunday mornings and evenings, teach Bible classes, and make home and hospital visits. He should love people and be enthusiastic and encouraging. Versailles is a small town but has great opportunities for growth and expansion. The 60-year-old congregation formerly was much larger with a strong youth group, but the church has gone through some hard times the last few years. A Christian preschool of 45 to 50 children meets in the church building three days a week during the school year. The public school system is very good and the community comes together for events, sports, and benefits. The church will provide a salary and a nice 3-bedroom/1.5-bath house to live in next to the church building. OREGON—Yoncalla (Ore.) Church of Christ is seeking a senior minister after the retirement of her previous minister, who served YCC for 14 years. Yoncalla is a small rural town (population 1,065) located approximately halfway between Eugene and Roseburg (populations 180,000 and 24,000, respectively). The town and church hold conservative views and embody all the benefits of small-town life. Hunting, fishing, hiking, and skiing are all within a 30- to 90-minute drive. The church is looking for a minister who truly wants to be involved in small-town life, loves God and loves people, a graduate of a Restoration college or university in ministry or a related field, with three or more years of experience, and who holds a high view of Scripture. The church will provide a three-bedroom parsonage including all utilities plus salary. The church’s worship is mostly contemporary accompanied by guitar. TENNESSEE—The School of Bible and Theology at Johnson University is inviting applications for the full-time position of Professor of New Testament to begin in the 2023-24 academic year. Johnson University educates students for Christian ministries and other strategic vocations. Johnson is affiliated with the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ of the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement and operates campuses in Tennessee, Florida, and online. The position calls for teaching primarily undergraduate courses in New Testament and biblical Greek language, advising students, and other duties. The PhD in New Testament or a closely related field is expected. Past and ongoing involvement in and commitment to the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement is a must. Prior experience in teaching and ministry is desired as well as a record of and ongoing commitment to research and publication. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. The proposed starting date is July 1, 2023, with a reporting date of Aug. 1. NEW ZEALAND—Mataura Christian Church in southern New Zealand and its affiliated preschool are both seeking godly servants for salaried positions. MCC seeks a family and community pastor to help the small congregation make a big impact on their community. The pastor will help to further develop projects the church is involved with in the community, while also working to connect people with God and the church family. MCC is an independent Christian church founded on the principles of the Restoration Movement. CALIFORNIA—First Christian Church of Carson in Southern California is searching for a pastor to proclaim the gospel of Christ, build up the body of Christ in faith, and perform pastoral duties. FCCC is a church of 100 to 150; it formed in 2007 with the merger of Carson Christian Church (founded 1950) and First Filipino American Christian Church (founded 1997).
