TENNESSEE—The School of Bible and Ministry at Milligan University is accepting applications for the position of assistant professor of worship leadership. The full-time, tenure-track faculty member will work primarily in the interdisciplinary undergraduate Worship Leadership major. The position requires teaching, mentoring, and advising students, as well as engagement in scholarship and service. Beyond worship studies, the faculty member will teach ministry and/or Bible courses in line with their education and expertise. The anticipated start date is August 2024. OHIO—The Montville (Ohio) Church of Christ—a growing, rural congregation—is seeking a preacher to care for the spiritual needs of the congregation. The ideal candidate will possess the qualities laid out in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. He must possess the ability to disciple, teach, and shepherd. He will be guided by God’s Word in all matters and able to effectively communicate his knowledge to the congregation through his sermons. The ideal candidate will be humble, compassionate, gracious, and personable in interpersonal dealings; trustworthy and able to counsel people when called to do so. The candidate should be an immersed follower of Jesus Christian with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Ministry experience is preferred. The position can be full-time or part-time (depending on candidate). The minister will receive a salary and either a housing allowance or parsonage.
