Standard Publishing new address: Mason, Ohio office relocation

Standard Publishing is relocating its offices from Hamilton Avenue to a new location in Mason, Ohio, effective Monday, March 19. The move reflects organizational streamlining and operational changes over time, while reaffirming continued commitment to producing nondenominational, true-to-the-Bible resources.

  • All offices are moving to a new top-floor location in Mason, Ohio, while phone numbers remain the same.
  • The move follows ownership changes and reflects streamlined operations, including outsourcing printing and a new distribution center.
  • Standard Publishing leaders emphasize that core purposes and doctrinal commitments remain unchanged.

A new location in Mason, Ohio

You have received the last issue of Christian Standard bearing the familiar 8121 Hamilton Avenue address. Effective Monday, March 19, all of Standard Publishing’s offices will have relocated to a beautiful, new location in Mason, Ohio, on the northern edge of Greater Cincinnati.

We are delighted to be moving to the top floor of an attractive office building, where we’ll be surrounded by glass walls, sitting at new desks, and enjoying a contemporary work environment.

What our move signifies and what it doesn’t

It’s important to note what our move signifies and what it doesn’t.

As announced in our August 16 issue, we have new owners. The Wicks Group, a private equity firm, bought Standard Publishing this summer from the Standex International Corporation, our owners since 1955.

That transaction is just one signal of the ways we have streamlined and refocused our ministry.

Since 2004 we have been out of the printing and binding business. All of our products are now manufactured at the best price and highest quality we can find at printing plants across the country and around the world.

Our friends at Berean Christian Stores also moved out of our building last year. Originally started as a division of Standard Publishing, Berean’s central offices were at our Hamilton Avenue address. When Standex sold Berean last year, those offices moved too.

We have opened a new warehouse and distribution center in Cincinnati where our resources will be shipped to Bible teachers and churches around the world.

So we don’t need the massive plant and office building seven acres under one roof that we have occupied since 1955.

But the purposes and principles that have guided us for many decades remain firm. As our new president, Matthew Thibeau, said last year, “Standard Publishing is as committed today as ever to producing nondenominational, true to the Bible resources. The doctrinal integrity of what we publish will continue to be sound, with the continued oversight and involvement of our Publishing Committee.”

We believe we’ll serve better than ever from our new location. As we embark on this fresh start, please pray for us and stay in contact with us. And if you write a letter, be sure and use the new address!
