New Life Christian Church is a Christ-centered, Restoration Movement church located in Chickasha, Oklahoma—a growing community just 30 minutes southwest of Oklahoma City. Since our founding in 1983, God has faithfully built a congregation that values biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and meaningful engagement with our community.
Today, we are a unified and outward-focused church experiencing steady growth, with a strong foundation and a clear desire to take our next steps forward. Through contemporary worship, intentional discipleship, active Life Groups, and thriving children’s and youth ministries, we are committed to helping people grow in faith and live out the mission of Jesus.
With expanded and recently updated facilities and a congregation eager to be led, New Life Christian Church is prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor who is excited to build on what God has already done and to help shape what comes next—honoring God, serving others, and sharing the good news of His love.
The Pastor we’re seeking
In addition to meeting the biblical qualifications of an Elder, our next Lead Pastor will be someone who:
- Is a strong, engaging preacher who communicates God’s Word with clarity and conviction
- Is a gifted teacher and relational leader
- Enjoys working with people inside and outside the church
- Has a passion for reaching families and developing future leaders
- Is energized by leading a church that is growing and full of opportunity
- Values teamwork, accountability, and servant leadership
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Shepherding and caring for the congregation
- Preaching on Sunday mornings
- Providing leadership and oversight to staff and volunteers
- Partnering with the Elders in vision, direction, and administration
The Lead Pastor will provide oversight for a staff that includes:
- A full-time Worship Leader / Media Director
- Part-time Youth Minister
- Part-time Children’s Ministry Coordinators
- Church Secretary
- Volunteer Ministry Leads
Qualifictions
Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.
- College degree from a Christian college
- Commitment to Restoration Movement principles
- Passion for evangelism and disciple-making
- Proven ministry experience and leadership ability
