Moore Follows Up ‘Core 52’ with ‘Quest 52’

Pastor and teacher Mark E. Moore is releasing a follow-up to his popular Core 52 books next week. Quest 52: A Fifteen-Minute-a-Day Yearlong Pursuit of Jesus will be released Nov. 16, along with a “Student Edition” version of the book.

The new book will follow a similar premise to Core 52: A Fifteen-Minute Daily Guide to Build Your Bible IQ in a Year (and its “Student Edition”).

“It’s like Core 52 in that it’s a yearlong study with five practical exercises every week,” Moore explains via his Facebook. “What makes it different is Core 52 looks at the 52 mountain-peak verses of the Bible, [whereas] Quest 52 focuses in on the life of Jesus in the Gospels.

“Think of Quest 52 like a personal field guide for you pursuing Jesus relentlessly . . . chasing hard after him for a whole year,” says Moore, teaching pastor with Christ’s Church of the Valley in Arizona, and formerly a professor of New Testament at Ozark Christian College.

Moore says many other resources will be available via the Quest52.com website. Among those free resources will be 6-minute teaching videos for all 52 lessons, ideal for kicking off weekly group studies.
