Yancey School of Nursing (YSN) at Kentucky Christian University recently received two major honors.
YSN was named the No. 1 Nurse Practitioner Program in Kentucky by nursepractitioneronline.com, which assesses online educational programs in this field. Among other criteria, KCU’s program was rated on graduate acceptance rates, competitiveness of the institution, accreditation status, and annual tuition and fees.
YSN’s online RN to BSN program also was honored—for the second consecutive year—as the best program of its kind in Kentucky by RegisteredNursing.org.

The International Conference On Missions has scheduled seven pre-convention training sessions—known as “Pre-Cons”—on Nov. 2 and 3, just prior to this year’s ICOM gathering in Columbus, Ohio. You can sign-up for any of the Pre-Cons while registering for the 2022 ICOM conference, set for Nov 3-5.

Great Lakes Christian College will offer Boost—A Retreat for Ministers July 11-13. The free event will take place on GLCC’s campus in Lansing, Mich. The school is planning “a restful, safe, and inspirational three days.” The evening speaker will be Frank Weller, GLCC’s new president. Workshop leaders will include Drs. Late last week, IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service) was preparing to send relief to Afghanistan, which suffered an earthquake last Wednesday. IDES will be sending food, water, first aid kits, and basic supplies. Cash gifts can be made via this link (“designate your gift as “Afghanistan”).
