KCU Announces Agreements with LBC, NEOBC

Kentucky Christian University has announced separate agreements to enable those who have earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisville Bible College or Northeast Ohio Bible College to seamlessly transition into the graduate programs offered by KCU’s Keeran School of Bible and Ministry. The agreements will serve to provide enhanced educational opportunities for aspiring leaders in the local church, KCU said via news releases.

Under the terms of the agreements with LBC in Louisville, Ky., and NEOBC of East Liverpool, Ohio, students who have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5 will be provisionally admitted to the Keeran School of Bible and Ministry at KCU in Grayson, Ky. All admission and enrollment policies of KCU will apply.

The arrangements stipulate that upon completion of 12 graduate credits at KCU, equivalent to approximately two semesters, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, students will be granted full admission to the program. From that point forward, they will need only to meet satisfactory progress requirements to remain in the program until graduation, according to news releases.

Eligible students from both LBC and NEOBC may begin enrolling at KCU through these respective partnerships starting July 1.

“The development of partnerships is a key part of our strategic plan,” said KCU President Terry Allcorn. “There are no more important partnerships than those that provide pathways to training for individuals who are called to serve the local church.”

He said KCU is proud to be working with the two other schools and to help seamlessly bridge the gap between undergraduate and graduate studies.

The sustainable path for colleges like ours runs through these kinds of collaborative programs. Presidents Allcorn, Allen, and Croft and their teams are to be commended! May God be glorified and the Church edified as students are equipped for ministry!
