Fred B. Craddock Lectures on Preaching

The Fred B. Craddock Lectures on Preaching is a free one-day event hosted by Johnson University that honors the legacy of one of its most influential alumni, preacher and teacher Fred B. Craddock. The 2026 lectures will feature Dr. Rochelle Scheuermann, assistant dean of ministry and evangelism at Wheaton College’s Litfin Divinity School, speaking on “Building Accessible Bridges: Engaging Disability in the Preaching Event.” Her two lectures will explore disability in biblical interpretation, sermon construction, and delivery.
