Children’s Pastor/Director

North Madison Christian Church (NMCC) in Madison, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Children’s Pastor/Director to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus, discover their God-given gifts, and become active participants in God’s Kingdom. NMCC is a Christ-centered, community-minded congregation committed to helping people know Jesus, grow in faith, and live out their purpose.

The church is looking for an energetic, visionary ministry leader who combines engaging biblical teaching with meaningful relationships and intentional discipleship. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, creativity, and a collaborative spirit while helping children and families take their next steps toward Jesus.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Communicating biblical truth to children through engaging, age-appropriate teaching and creative ministry experiences.
• Building strong, meaningful relationships with children and parents to encourage spiritual growth and family discipleship.
• Working collaboratively with the Student Pastor and other ministry leaders to support the church’s overall vision.
• Developing opportunities for older children to discover their spiritual gifts and grow as servant leaders.
• Encouraging children to serve and minister to younger children, helping them develop leadership skills through practical ministry involvement.
• Helping establish a connected pathway of discipleship and servant leadership from childhood into the teenage years and beyond.
