FAME is seeking a mission-driven Executive Director to serve as Chief Executive Officer and help lead the organization in advancing its global ministry of medical evangelism. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this leader will guide the overall health, strategy, and effectiveness of the ministry while strengthening relationships with mission partners, churches, donors, staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders. Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership for the ministry’s programs, operations, and long-range planning
- Working with the Board and staff to develop organizational and financial plans and carry out approved policies
- Overseeing compliance, official records, and sound organizational practices
- Leading fundraising and development efforts alongside the Director of Development
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with mission partners, churches, supporters, and volunteers
- Overseeing staff leadership, recruitment, performance evaluation, and organizational culture
- Managing sound financial practices, budgeting, and stewardship of ministry resources
- Traveling domestically and internationally to support FAME’s work and ministry partnerships
Expectations and qualifications include:
- Evidence of love for God, a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and a clear call to ministry
- Active participation in a local Christian Church
- Leadership experience in a church or faith-based nonprofit setting
- Experience leading staff and volunteers
- Strength in public relations, fundraising, communication, and vision casting
- Financial acumen, including budget oversight and work with accountants and auditors
- Willingness and availability for extensive domestic and international travel
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; graduate degree preferred
- Strong people skills, integrity, work ethic, and a heart for missions
