Team Expansion is seeking a full-time Missionary in Ghana to join a team working to multiply disciples and churches among unreached people. This support-based missionary role uses agriculture, including Farming God’s Way and animal husbandry, along with Community Health Education (CHE), as avenues for building relationships, training nationals, and sharing the hope of Christ. Training is provided both in the United States and on the field.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Raise the financial support needed for missionary service.
- Complete required field training as directed by the Team Leader, Field Coordinator, and International Services representatives.
- Develop and implement creative, effective ministries that communicate the hope of Christ.
- Work harmoniously with teammates and cultivate a spirit of mutual encouragement.
- Maintain responsible and timely communication with ministry partners and supporters.
- Pray consistently for ministry needs, spiritual growth, and the people being served.
- Follow the vision and direction established by the Team Leader.
- Regularly evaluate ministry approaches and make improvements where needed.
- Trust God for the fulfillment of ministry goals.
Expectations and qualifications include:
- A background in or aptitude for agriculture.
- A deep love for Jesus Christ and for people who have not heard the Gospel.
- Compassion for and commitment to unreached people groups.
- Creativity in ministry design and implementation.
- A consistent commitment to prayer.
- Administrative ability to maintain healthy relationships and accountability with supporters.
- The ability to work effectively with volunteers and other team members.
- A self-starting, “can-do” approach to ministry.
- Willingness to communicate by email or other available means.
- Willingness to live in the target area in Ghana.
