First Christian Church of Noble is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Minister to lead and serve its congregation in Noble, Illinois. The church is an independent Christian church in the Restoration Movement, committed to the authority of Scripture, the lordship of Jesus Christ, and the mission of making disciples.
First Christian Church of Noble is a welcoming congregation of approximately 150–160 attendees with a strong commitment to biblical preaching, Christian fellowship, community outreach, and spiritual growth. The church is seeking a faithful minister who will help lead the congregation into the future while building upon its rich heritage of faith.
Primary responsibilities include:
– Preaching and teaching biblically sound, Christ-centered messages.
– Providing spiritual leadership for the congregation.
– Working alongside church elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers.
– Shepherding and caring for church members through visitation, counseling, and encouragement.
– Leading and supporting evangelism and community outreach efforts.
– Officiating weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other church functions.
– Encouraging discipleship, ministry involvement, and congregational growth.
Expectations and qualifications include:
– A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to biblical authority.
– Embrace of the principles and heritage of the Restoration Movement.
– Effective preaching, teaching, and pastoral care abilities.
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
– Ministry experience and/or appropriate biblical training.
– Formal ministry education is preferred but not required.
Compensation includes a starting salary of $50,000–$60,000, commensurate with experience, along with a $1,500 monthly housing allowance, paid vacation, and possible additional ministry-related expenses to be negotiated.
