Riverside Christian Church in Boonville, Missouri, is seeking a full-time Youth & Outreach Minister to provide leadership for its student ministry and help expand the church’s engagement within the surrounding community. This position will primarily serve students in grades 6–12 while developing outreach opportunities that connect people to Christ and the mission of the church.
The Youth & Outreach Minister will disciple students, equip adult volunteers, partner with parents, and plan ministry environments where young people can grow in their faith, find their place in the church, and make an impact. The minister will also help Riverside identify and develop meaningful ways to reach and serve people beyond the church’s walls.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing spiritual and organizational leadership for the church’s ministry to students in grades 6–12.
- Discipling students and helping them grow in their relationship with Christ.
- Planning and leading regular youth programming, teaching opportunities, activities, and ministry events.
- Recruiting, equipping, and supporting volunteers who serve in student ministry.
- Partnering with parents as they guide and disciple their students.
- Developing outreach opportunities that build relationships within the local community and connect people to Christ.
- Working collaboratively with the elders, church staff, and other ministry leaders.
Expectations and qualifications include:
- A commitment to student discipleship, volunteer development, and community outreach.
- The ability to lead ministry programming and work effectively with students, parents, volunteers, and church leaders.
- A collaborative approach to ministry and a desire to advance Riverside’s mission to Honor God, Reach Out, and Build Up.
