Jamestown Church of Christ in Jamestown, Ohio, is seeking a Youth Pastor to lead and disciple students in grades 6–12. This role may be full-time or part-time, with compensation ranging from $25,000–$50,000 based on experience and role scope. The church is looking for a passionate, relational, and spiritually grounded leader who can communicate God’s Word clearly while investing deeply in students and families.
The Youth Pastor will help students grow in faith through biblical teaching, consistent presence, relational discipleship, and organized youth ministry gatherings. This person will work alongside church staff and leadership to support the broader mission and vision of Jamestown Church of Christ.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Teaching weekly during the Sunday 10:30 a.m. service.
- Delivering engaging, biblically sound messages.
- Utilizing provided curriculum effectively.
- Leading students toward spiritual growth.
- Leading Sunday evening youth gatherings.
- Rotating between middle school, high school, and combined services.
- Recruiting and leading volunteers.
- Building relationships with students outside of church.
- Connecting with parents and families.
- Providing mentorship and guidance.
- Planning or attending youth conferences and camps.
- Organizing logistics and communication.
- Participating in weekly meetings with the Lead Pastor.
- Collaborating with staff and supporting the church’s vision.
