Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies (SEIBS) Lectureship — Organization Profile The Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies (SEIBS) is a preacher-training school that traces its roots to 1971, when it began as the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions. Based in Knoxville, Tennessee (at the Karns church of Christ), SEIBS exists to train godly men to be effective gospel preachers through a structured course of Bible study and ministry preparation. The SEIBS Lectureship is an extension of that same training emphasis—an annual, theme-driven series of Bible lessons that gathers teachers, students, and guests for concentrated instruction. While the lectureship is
