Connections Recovery Network — Organization Profile Connections Recovery Network (CRN) is a Christian recovery-ministry network that equips local churches to launch and sustain recovery ministries centered on discipleship, relationships, and Jesus. The network grew out of the recovery ministry at Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville, Indiana, where church leaders developed a ministry culture for walking alongside people affected by addiction and supporting their movement toward recovery and spiritual growth. CRN takes that experience and shares it with other congregations through a church-to-church, practitioner-to-practitioner model. Rather than asking participating congregations to adopt a centrally controlled or franchised ministry, CRN emphasizes local church ownership of recovery ministry. Connections Recovery Network (CRN) is a Christian recovery-ministry network that equips local churches to launch and sustain recovery ministries centered on discipleship, relationships, and Jesus.
Its approach is built around ten distinctives: Jesus Is Our Solution, Grace Over Shame, Truth With Love, Authenticity Over Image, Progress Not Perfection, Community Is Essential, Confidentiality Builds Trust, Servant Leadership, Multiplication Matters, and Hope Is Louder. Together, these principles shape how participating churches develop groups, train leaders, create environments for honest relationships, and connect recovery with Christian discipleship.
Connections Recovery Network serves churches seeking to establish or strengthen recovery ministry in their own communities. Its model was developed in Mooresville, Indiana, but the network is designed for churches beyond that local setting and states that churches of different sizes can participate. CRN says it partners with churches that identify Jesus as Lord and are serious about recovery, while emphasizing unity rather than requiring every participating congregation to operate identically. The goal is to help churches develop ministry that fits their community while retaining the network's core recovery and discipleship culture.
Churches joining the network receive several practical resources. CRN provides a 90-Day Launch Resource that covers steps from recruiting leaders through holding an initial recovery meeting. Participating churches also receive one year of Scripture-based meeting curriculum organized around themes including identity, inventory, community, and freedom. A further component is one year of leadership development and coaching, designed to help churches develop healthy recovery-ministry leaders who can eventually train and support others. CRN describes its approach as practitioner-led, meaning churches learn from people with experience operating recovery ministry rather than primarily from outside consultants.
The process for churches begins by contacting Connections Recovery Network and explaining their congregation's current situation and interest in recovery ministry. A CRN practitioner then schedules a conversation to learn about the church, answer questions, and determine whether the network is an appropriate fit. Churches that move forward as Founding Churches begin using the launch resources, curriculum, coaching, and practitioner community. Through this process, CRN seeks to help congregations create relational, reproducible recovery ministries that connect recovery with ongoing discipleship in Jesus.

ULife Consulting, Inc. (often referred to as ULife) is a nonprofit organization that serves campus, college, and young adult ministries by providing consulting, coaching, and job-search support. Based in Bono, Arkansas, ULife’s stated purpose is to help ministries to college students and young adults thrive through practical assessment, training, and ongoing leadership development.
A central part of ULife’s work is on-site consultation for campus and college ministries. ULife describes these consultations as a way to help a ministry move toward healthier structure and greater fruitfulness by evaluating ministry realities and then offering recommendations for improvement. For ministries that are in a season of change, ULife also offers on-site or distance consultation for rebranding or relaunching, helping leaders clarify direction and rebuild with intentionality.
ULife also supports churches that want to start or strengthen college ministry efforts. The organization includes services such as guiding churches through a new launch or a reboot of their college ministry, with the aim of helping congregations develop sustainable outreach and discipleship among students and young adults. In addition, ULife provides one-on-one coaching and staff coaching, including monthly Zoom cohorts, so leaders can receive encouragement and accountability beyond a single consultation.
Another distinctive offering is ULife’s role in staffing transitions. ULife notes that it can lead job searches for campus, college, and young adult ministers, assisting churches and ministries as they evaluate candidates and move toward a strong fit for their setting. This reflects ULife’s focus on supporting both organizational health and the people who lead ministry day to day.
ULife is also involved in campus ministry expansion. The organization describes itself as the campus ministry planting wing for Campus for Christ, and it states that it often partners with Kairos Church Planting. Through these connections and its own services, ULife works to strengthen campus ministry efforts in multiple locations, not only in its home region.
ULife’s leadership includes an executive director and a board of directors drawn from ministry and professional backgrounds. Individuals and churches can engage with ULife by requesting a consultation or coaching relationship, seeking help with a campus-ministry job search, and supporting ULife’s work so it can continue serving ministries that need assistance regardless of ability to pay.

CCL serves church leaders across the United States through coaching, cohorts, practical resources, and collaborative learning communities. Rather than offering quick fixes, the CCL helps leaders build the clarity, confidence, and resilience they need to Lead Strong for the long haul.
The CCL's work focuses on many of the areas most critical to a church’s strength and health. Preachers sharpen their craft through Level Up Preaching Cohorts. Children's ministers grow through KidMin cohorts and certification. Leadership teams develop healthier systems and stronger cultures through Healthy Church Co-Ops.
Leaders pursuing advanced ministry training can earn an accredited master's degree through the Russell School of Ministry, a division of Central Bible University. The CCL also produces online content, including the “Leading Together” webinars and the “Ministry &” podcast. These platforms provide practical tools, fresh ideas, and encouragement for leaders navigating the challenges of ministry.
Collaboration is central to everything CCL does. By partnering with other ministry organizations and networks, more leaders are strengthened and more churches flourish.
The Center for Church Leadership traces its roots to Cincinnati Christian University. Today, the Elliott Library and Museum resides at the CCL's headquarters in Florence, Kentucky, preserving and celebrating the heritage of CCU and the Restoration Movement.
