World Gospel Outreach — Organization Profile
World Gospel Outreach is a Christian mission organization focused on serving and evangelizing children and the poor. Its stated vision is “Impacting the faith of Christ followers through serving and evangelizing children and the poor.” WGO describes its work as rooted in biblical mandates to care for the poor, share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and meet the needs of others in accountable Christian service.
The ministry serves in Honduras and Belize, with a U.S. office in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and ministry headquarters at Casa de Esperanza in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. World Gospel Outreach began ministry in Honduras before expanding into Belize in 2014. Its work brings North American volunteers together with Honduran and Belizean staff, missionaries, local churches, and ministry partners.
WGO operates through several ministry areas, including Rancho Ebenezer, Tegucigalpa Serve Teams, Belize Serve Teams, Relief and Development, and WGO Kids child sponsorship. Rancho Ebenezer is a family-based children’s community in the mountains near Tegucigalpa for at-risk Honduran children. The ministry provides safe homes, education, counseling, Christian mentorship, vocational development, and preparation for independent adulthood.
Through its Tegucigalpa and Belize serve-team ministries, WGO works with local churches and communities to meet practical needs while sharing the gospel. Teams may participate in medical, dental, and optical care, water-filter installation, concrete floors, home and church projects, food distribution, Vacation Bible School, children’s ministry, relational discipleship, and evangelism. In Honduras, WGO describes long-term relationships with local evangelical churches that host serve teams and help facilitate outreach in their communities.
The organization’s Relief and Development ministry strengthens local churches by helping meet physical and spiritual needs in Central America. Relief work includes clean water, shelter, medical outreach, food distribution, and church-related construction. Development work includes pastoral training and support, small-business development, microfinance, biblical entrepreneurship courses, and vocational-skills training intended to help participants grow spiritually and move toward greater stability.
People can engage with World Gospel Outreach by joining a serve trip, sponsoring a child through WGO Kids, giving to ministry projects, supporting a specific missionary, participating in church partnerships, joining the newsletter, praying for the work, or supporting the WGO Coffee Club connected to Rancho Ebenezer. WGO also lists career opportunities and service roles for people interested in longer-term ministry involvement in Honduras, Belize, or stateside support.

Heart & Mind Partnership, Inc. — Organization Profile
Heart & Mind Partnership, Inc. is a Christian nonprofit based in Longwood, Florida, serving churches and communities in Zimbabwe. The organization describes itself as a partnership of Zimbabweans and Americans that exists to train pastors for effective church leadership and enable churches to reach their communities for Christ.
The organization’s core focus is equipping pastors with biblical training, supporting orphans with access to education, and providing vocational skills that strengthen families and communities. Its mission centers on building a foundation of faith, knowledge, and opportunity in the Binga District to advance the kingdom of God.
Heart & Mind Partnership serves Zimbabwe, with a primary focus on the Binga District in northwest Zimbabwe among remote and impoverished communities. The ministry also partners with churches, pastors, and ministries throughout the country where it is invited and able to serve. Its work includes the Tonga people of Binga, where pastors may travel long distances for biblical and leadership training.
The organization operates through several connected programs. Leadership Training provides biblical teaching, leadership development, seminars, and hands-on mentoring for pastors without requiring them to leave their families or ministries. The Binga School of Discipleship is being developed as a structured training initiative for Christ-centered church leadership. Child Sponsorship helps orphans and disadvantaged children attend school, receive supplies, access food and clothing, and receive spiritual training and mentoring.
A distinctive part of Heart & Mind Partnership’s approach is working through local churches and existing relationships while avoiding dependency and honoring local leaders. Its vocational training and small business development program helps pastors and families learn practical income-generating skills through training, mentoring, and micro-loans. The ministry also supports youth programs that address drug abuse, early childhood marriage, and faith formation, along with an eyeglasses project that serves local communities through churches.
People can engage with Heart & Mind Partnership by praying, giving financially, sponsoring a child, volunteering, supporting training programs, using ministry resources, or contacting the organization directly. The ministry invites teachers, medical professionals, and U.S.-based volunteers to assist with training, medical missions, child sponsorship administration, bookkeeping, communications, and website support.
