Spain1700 — Organization Profile Spain1700 is a Christian disciple-making and church-planting movement focused on equipping disciples to make disciples and churches to plant churches across Spain. The movement describes itself as Spirit-led and obedience-based, with a vision to see the Gospel saturate the country through prayer, collaboration, local leadership, and reproducible simple churches. The movement is focused on Spain, with a stated goal of reaching all 17 regions of Spain. Spain1700’s public materials identify Spain as a spiritually underserved mission field, noting that many towns and villages do not have a Gospel-preaching church. The movement’s long-term vision is to see 1,700 simple churches planted across the country by 2034, with 100 in each region. Spain1700 began from prayer gatherings among…

Spain1700 began from prayer gatherings among missionaries and local believers who were asking God for a disciple-making movement in Spain. The coalition formalized its shared commitment after a gathering in Granada, Spain, in fall 2022. As the vision grew, churches and mission organizations outside Spain joined alongside teams on the ground, forming a network of nearly 20 churches and ministries.
The movement’s strategy is built around Disciple Making Movements and Church Planting Movements that multiply through ordinary believers, local leaders, and simple reproducible tools. Spain1700 emphasizes that a movement is not primarily a program, event, or institution, but a prayer-fueled work of God in which disciples make disciples, churches plant churches, and local communities become centers of Gospel witness.
Spain1700’s values include prayer, collaboration, multiplication, innovation, and empowerment. The movement prioritizes equipping local believers and leaders to serve in their own contexts, adapting strategies for each regional setting rather than depending on outside control. Its approach is intentionally scalable, relational, and rooted in obedience, with the goal of long-term transformation rather than short-term activity.
People can engage with Spain1700 through daily prayer at 5:00 p.m., region adoption, vision trips, Awake Spain prayer walks, coalition participation, and short-, mid-, or long-term mission mobilization. Churches can adopt a region for prayer, partnership, and mission, while individuals can join prayer efforts, visit a region with a national leader, or explore service opportunities connected to disciple-making and church planting. Its distinct contribution is a collaborative Spain-focused movement mobilizing prayer, people, churches, and resources toward 1,700 simple churches across Spain by 2034.

Iberoamerican Ministries, also known as IAM, is a Christian mission organization based in Monroe, Washington. The organization describes itself with the words “Planting. Serving. Sending.” and works to see peoples, communities, and nations transformed by Christ through global movements of Kingdom disciples.
The organization’s core focus is planting churches, serving with compassion, and sending disciples through church planting, leadership training, education, children’s outreach, compassion projects, and missionary development. IAM states that its vision is to see peoples, communities, and nations transformed by Christ through global movements of Kingdom disciples, and its mission is “to plant churches, serve with compassion and send disciples.”
Iberoamerican Ministries serves in South America, West Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, with work publicly identified in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Central America, Sierra Leone, Spain, Italy, and the Canary Islands. Its history began with missionaries arriving in Chile in 1977 and planting churches in Maipu, a community outside Santiago. IAM was founded as a nonprofit mission organization in 1992, and the work later expanded into Peru, Ecuador, southern Chile, the Middle East, Sierra Leone, and Europe.
The organization operates through church planting, discipleship, leadership development, compassion ministries, schools, tutoring programs, feeding programs, community centers, housing projects, clean water work, business-as-mission, and missionary sending. In Chile, IAM’s Maipu churches have grown into a network of churches led by national leaders and pastors. Its IAM Institute began in 1996 to train leaders, missionaries, and pastors in biblical studies and is active in Chile, Ecuador, and Peru.
A distinctive part of IAM’s work is developing local leaders and churches that can continue extending the kingdom work beyond their own communities. In Ecuador, IAM’s ministries include church plants, schools, children’s programs, and housing projects connected to earthquake response. In Sierra Leone, IAM’s work includes clean water through manual borehole wells, medical and food-related compassion work, and church planting in rural villages. In Central America, IAM also describes business-as-mission work in software, web services, specialty coffee, and nonprofit consulting.
People can engage with Iberoamerican Ministries by giving, praying, subscribing to updates, contacting the office, supporting missionaries or projects, and following its ministry news. Supporters can give online or by check, designate gifts for specific workers or projects, and stay connected through IAM’s newsletter, website, and social media channels.

CMF International (also known as Christian Missionary Fellowship International, CMF Missions) is a global missions organization that works to create dynamic, Christ-centered communities that transform the world. For more than 75 years, CMF has helped send and support missionaries serving across cultures and communities, partnering with local Christians and churches to pursue long-term, reproducible ministry.
CMF’s home office is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and its teams serve across 26 countries and regions worldwide. Current ministry locations span places such as Kenya, Ethiopia, India, Thailand, Spain, Australia, and Ukraine, along with broader regions including West Africa and the Middle East/North Africa. This geographic breadth reflects CMF’s emphasis on collaborative, on-the-ground teams that plan and carry out ministry alongside national leaders and local congregations.
A key distinctive of CMF is its focus on four interrelated ministry strategies. First, CMF supports church-planting efforts that aim to develop disciples and leaders who can multiply new faith communities—often through mentoring and leadership training. In multiple contexts, CMF has helped establish leadership training centers that strengthen Bible knowledge and practical ministry skills so that local leaders can guide churches toward maturity and reproduction.
Second, CMF’s Marketplace Ministries place working professionals in roles and settings where traditional mission access can be limited. These teams pursue holistic ministry and development through education, business, and community engagement—sometimes helping disciple and train local entrepreneurs toward “Kingdom businesses” that contribute to spiritual and economic transformation. Third, through Globalscope, CMF welcomes university students into community on international campuses where Christian ministries may be difficult to find. Globalscope emphasizes open, relational community where students can ask hard questions while experiencing Christian hospitality and witness.
Fourth, CMF’s holistic poverty-focused ministries address practical needs while integrating gospel-centered discipleship. CMF describes work such as education and community sponsorship (including support like education, nutrition, and medical care where possible), microfinance and Village Savings and Loans, Community Health Evangelism (CHE), medical ministry, and water projects that expand access to safe water and support community resilience.
CMF also describes itself as a “full-service” missions organization, providing support before, during, and after intercultural service. This includes assessment for field fit, training and coaching for support-raising, help with documentation such as visas and permits, financial accounting services, and member care that can include counseling and crisis support. People interested in serving can explore multiple pathways—from REACH (an 8-week intercultural internship) and an Exchange Semester, to the EQUIP Experience (a 10-month program in England) and long-term service. Others can engage by praying, partnering as a sending church, or giving to specific people and projects or broader needs.
