Impact Ministry Group, also known as IMG, is a Christian church-planting ministry based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The organization is incorporated in Canada and the United States and is made up of two divisions: Impact Canada and Impact Europe. Its ministry theme is “Plant / Train / Transform,” reflecting its focus on church planting, leadership development, and gospel-centered community impact.
The organization’s core focus is planting reproducing New Testament Christian Churches in highly unchurched regions of Canada, Europe, and Russian-speaking communities. Impact Ministry Group states that it seeks to ignite individuals and churches with purpose in the planting of churches that continue reproducing through new disciples, new leaders, and additional church plants.
Impact Ministry Group serves Canada, Eastern Europe, Europe, and Russian-speaking communities. Its current plants and projects include work connected to Guelph, Ontario, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Burlington, Ontario, and Eastern Europe. The organization also identifies future ministry sites in London, Ontario, Mississauga City Centre, the Greater Toronto Area, and Eastern European or Russian-speaking communities.
The ministry operates through partnership, training, networking, and church-planting support. It partners with churches and church planters to start new churches, trains leaders through events, classes, and coaching, and networks with Christ-centered individuals, churches, and organizations to create strategies and provide needed resources. Its work includes church plants, a Training & Equipping Center in Eastern Europe, and Orphan Kid’s Camp in Eastern Europe.
A distinctive part of Impact Ministry Group’s approach is raising up leaders and resources to reach lost people in densely populated, unchurched communities with churches designed to reproduce. The ministry’s strategy connects established churches, emerging church planters, and local movements so new congregations can be planted among diverse people groups that call Canada or Europe home.
