Anchor Christian Church

Anchor Christian Church is an Independent Christian Church in Rochester, New York, located at 375 Beaver Rd in the Chili area. The church describes its mission as living the love of Christ, having the mind of Christ, and doing the work of Christ.

Sunday worship includes a 9:00 a.m. Classic Worship service with hymns and a 10:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship service with newer songs. ASL interpretation is offered during the 10:30 a.m. service, and the church also provides a Deaf Sunday School during the 9:00 a.m. service. Anchor Christian Church offers Bible studies and Sunday School for adults, children, and youth, along with nursery care, youth ministry, young adult ministry, women’s ministry, men’s ministry, missions, Vacation Bible School, fellowship activities, and prayer support.

The church’s beliefs emphasize Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, the Bible as the final authority for faith and practice, baptism by immersion, weekly communion, Christian unity, and life under the Lordship of Christ.
