‘Pink Slip Christmas Party’ Held

On Dec. 14, Meridian Christian Church (Okemos, MI) hosted its first-ever “Pink Slip Christmas Party.” The party, an opportunity for the unemployed to meet with potential employers, included food, workshops, and networking.

The church”s Community Ministries organization partnered with area businesses, agencies, and career specialists and provided the “ultimate career event and holiday celebration” free of charge.
