Some leaders attend conferences to hear just one or two of these speakers; at the 2012 NACC you can learn from them all!

Mark Scott, exposition and leadership pastor at Mountainview Community Christian Church (Highlands Ranch, Colorado), will kick off the week with his Tuesday night message, “Come, Be Refreshed.” He is a popular author and speaker and former professor at Ozark Christian College (Joplin, Missouri).

On Wednesday morning the main session will feature Jerry Taylor from Abilene (Texas) Christian University. Taylor teaches Bible classes at the university and is also one of the organizers of the annual New Wineskins Retreat for ministers. He will be speaking on “Refreshed by the Justice of God.”

On Wednesday you”ll also be able to choose from four Featured Seminars (each morning seminar will also be repeated in the afternoon). Seminar speakers include Alan Hirsch, founding director of Forge Mission Training Network and author of several books, including The Forgotten Ways and On the Verge; Hugh Halter, national director of Misseo and the lead architect of Adullam, a congregational network of missional church communities in Denver, Colorado; and Shaun King, a leading voice on social media and the founder of TwitChange, aHomeinHaiti, and Courageous Church.

On Wednesday night, Todd Clark will preach on “Refreshed in the Kingdom of God.” Clark is the founding pastor of Discovery Church in Southern California and founder of Eat Art, which sells original artwork to raise money to feed hungry children around the world.

Thursday is also packed with great speakers. Reggie McNeal will lead a Featured Seminar on “The Rise of Post-
Congregational Communities.” He”ll also speak in the Thursday morning main session. McNeal currently serves as the missional leadership specialist for the Leadership Network and has written several books, including A Work of Heart: Understanding How God Shapes Spiritual Leaders and Missional Renaissance: Changing the Scorecard for the Church.

Other Featured Seminar speakers include John Hayes, former international businessman and general director of InnerCHANGE, a Christian mission order among the poor; Lysa TerKeurst, award-winning author of 11 books, including What Happens When Women Say Yes to God, and cohost of the Proverbs 31 Ministry”s national radio program which airs daily on more than 1,200 stations; and a panel discussion on “Sticky Conversations” led by Orchard Group Chairman and Christian Standard Editor-at-Large Paul Williams.

On Thursday night, 2012 NACC President Rick Rusaw will speak on “Refreshed in the Call of God.” Rusaw serves as the lead pastor at LifeBridge Christian Church (Longmont, Colorado). He is also the cofounder of the Externally Focused Network and coauthor of Externally Focused Church, Externally Focused Life, and Externally Focused Quest.

Chonda Pierce will participate in the Thursday evening main session as well as the Ladies” Luncheon that afternoon. As a comic, television host, and author, Pierce has been entertaining audiences from coast to coast for more than a decade. She”s written six books, released nine comedy DVDs, and shared her mix of music and laughter with thousands.

Friday morning, two of the most popular preachers in the U.S. will close out our time together. Bob Russell, former senior minister with Southeast Christian Church (Louisville, Kentucky) and a popular author and speaker, will share a message on “Refreshed in the Future.” Rick Warren, founder and senior pastor at Saddleback Church (Lake Forest, California), is also a global strategist, philanthropist, and author. His book The Purpose Driven Life has sold more than 30 million copies in English alone. Warren and his wife, Kay, give away 90 percent of their income through three charities. He will speak on “Refreshed by the Heart of God.”
