Anthem Church in Burlington, Massachusetts, is seeking an Interim Worship Leader to serve during a temporary 3–6 month season while an immigration situation is being worked out. This contract role may be part-time or full-time depending on availability, ministry needs, and the hours involved.
Anthem Church is an 8-year-old congregation with an average weekly attendance of approximately 150. The church values contemporary worship as a vital part of its Sunday ministry and is looking for a capable, ministry-minded worship leader who can support the pastors and help guide the worship and production teams during this interim period.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Leading worship weekly in Sunday gatherings
- Leading vocally and from either keyboard or guitar
- Supporting the pastors through thoughtful worship planning and team leadership
- Overseeing worship team scheduling
- Providing oversight for the production team
- Carrying out other worship ministry duties as arranged with church leadership
Expectations and qualifications include:
- Ability to lead contemporary worship with musical and spiritual maturity
- Vocal leadership ability
- Proficiency on either keyboard or guitar
- Ability to work well with pastors, musicians, vocalists, and production volunteers
- Willingness to serve in an interim role for approximately 3–6 months
- Availability for part-time or full-time hours, depending on the final arrangement
