CrossRoads Missions

CrossRoads Missions mobilizes churches and volunteers for hands-on mission trips, construction, disaster recovery, outreach, and ministry partnerships in the U.S. and Mexico.

CrossRoads Missions โ€” Organization Profile

CrossRoads Missions is a Christian missions organization that mobilizes churches, groups, families, and individuals for hands-on service. Its stated mission is mobilizing the Church in meaningful mission and service, with a vision of seeing the Church passionately mobilized to fulfill the Great Commission through Christ-centered service.

CrossRoads Missions is based in Louisville, Kentucky, and serves communities in the United States and Mexico. Its ministry fields include Louisville, Kentucky; Appalachia in Eastern Kentucky; Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico; New Orleans, Louisiana; and East Tennessee. Since 1993, the organization states that it has mobilized more than 250,000 volunteers and partnered with more than 1,000 churches and organizations in the U.S. and Mexico.

The organizationโ€™s work combines mission trips, volunteer service projects, construction, home repair, disaster recovery, immigrant and refugee care, youth outreach, medical missions, education, tutoring, evangelism, and language instruction. CrossRoads Missions emphasizes that service projects are not only intended to meet practical needs, but also to build relationships that create opportunities for discipleship and ongoing spiritual care through local churches and ministry partners.

CrossRoads Missions operates through field-based programs and local partnerships. ServeLouisville works with churches, nonprofits, veteransโ€™ ministries, families, and community advocates through construction, outreach, service projects, and community development. In Appalachia, the ministry partners with local churches, community centers, schools, and organizations in Eastern Kentucky through home repairs, cookouts, game nights, outreach, and community relationship-building.

In Piedras Negras, Mexico, CrossRoads Missions supports construction projects, affordable home ownership, education, immigrant care, outreach programs, and ministry in the Piedra Angular neighborhood. Help Build Hope brings construction projects to churches, businesses, schools, conventions, and organizations across the United States, where volunteers frame walls for affordable homes in partnership with housing organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Fuller Center-related partners.

People can engage with CrossRoads Missions by registering for mission trips, joining one-day or multi-day volunteer opportunities, serving through Help Build Hope, applying for internships, giving financially, supporting staff, promoting mission opportunities, praying for field ministries, or partnering as a church or organization. Donations may be made online, and general inquiries are handled through the Louisville office.
