Workers for Mexico Mission is a Christian mission organization focused on taking the gospel of Christ to the people of Mexico through national evangelists, church planting, and benevolent ministry. The ministry describes its work as a loving outreach that includes evangelism, preacher training, children’s ministry, camps, clinics, feeding programs, construction, maintenance, student homes, and support for Christian education.
The organization is based in Grayson, Kentucky, and serves throughout Mexico. Workers for Mexico traces its roots to the ministry of Clinton Looney, who began missionary work in Mexico in 1961. In 1996, Looney began turning mission functions over to Mexican leaders in key cities and asked Francis Nash and Pam Nash to serve as stateside director and forwarding agents so the work could continue and expand into new areas.
Workers for Mexico operates by supporting Mexican ministers and evangelists in churches across multiple states of Mexico. Its website describes support for more than 50 ministers in churches in 13 Mexican states, along with benevolent works connected to children, students, churches, and communities. The ministry emphasizes the role of national workers and local congregations rather than building its work around U.S.-based personnel.
The ministry’s program areas include Con Mis Manos Deaf School and Center, camps, feeding programs, a medical clinic, student homes, Mexican Christian University in Querétaro, extension and correspondence courses, and construction projects. Current and past construction needs listed by the ministry include church buildings, classroom space, repairs, sanctuaries, parsonage work, and recreation areas in communities such as Nuevo Laredo, Monclova, Matamoros, Reynosa, Guadalajara, Saltillo, Monterrey, Apodaca, and Veracruz.
Short-term worker teams may also participate in the mission’s work in Mexico, especially through construction, children’s ministry, and special church programs. Workers for Mexico notes that Spanish-language ability is helpful for team members and that skilled laborers are needed to lead and supervise construction projects. The ministry asks interested churches to contact the office for trip details and scheduling information.
People can engage with Workers for Mexico Mission by praying, giving, supporting a minister, adopting a church or individual through monthly support, helping with construction needs, donating toward vehicles for ministers, sending short-term worker teams, or requesting information for a church mission committee. The ministry states that designated gifts go to the Mexico mission field, national workers, missionaries, or mission efforts selected by donors.

Vida Nueva Ministries is a Christian nonprofit ministry serving communities in Mexico with the stated mission of “Breaking the Cycle of Poverty and Disadvantage Through Christ.” The ministry exists to help people develop a personal relationship with Jesus while operating practical programs that address physical, social, educational, and spiritual needs. Its work combines outreach, Christian education, church planting, leadership development, benevolence, and discipleship.
The ministry’s roots are in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, where Jair and Norma Castillo began serving in the mid-1970s after moving into the El Ejido community. Vida Nueva Ministries formally opened in 1989 as an open meal program and children’s home serving people living near the city dump and children facing severe poverty. Over time, the ministry adapted its programs as community needs changed while continuing its emphasis on relational ministry and gospel-centered service.
Vida Nueva serves Mexico, with ministry locations and partnerships connected to Piedras Negras, Tepic, Acapulco, Cancún, and Puebla. Its programs are designed to create “relationship bridges” through which staff and local leaders can share the love of Christ. The ministry describes itself as an independent Christian ministry rather than a social agency, with practical outreach intended to support people while pointing them toward deeper spiritual hope and discipleship.
A major focus of Vida Nueva’s work is Christ-centered education and child sponsorship through the Life For Them Program, also called LIFT. The ministry has operated education programs in Piedras Negras, including preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school development. LIFT sponsorships help students with limited resources attend VNM schools or support outreach efforts such as open meal programs and food distribution.
Vida Nueva also works through church planting, church leadership development, open meal programs, medical care, food distribution, recreation, vocational skills training, and discipleship. Its outreach page describes church plants in Piedras Negras, Cancún, Tepic, and Acapulco, along with a commitment to planting reproducing churches throughout Mexico. The ministry also connects with Rio Bravo Christian Ministries, which has served border communities and works to strengthen churches, make disciples, and continue outreach in the region.
People can engage with Vida Nueva Ministries by praying, giving, sponsoring a student, joining a short-term mission trip, or contacting the ministry about church planting and outreach needs. Mission teams may serve at locations such as Piedras Negras, Tepic, Acapulco, or Cancún. Donations can support general ministry needs or specific locations, while sponsorships help students and children participate in ministry programs connected to education and open meals.

SonLight Power is a Christian nonprofit solar energy ministry that equips people living in energy poverty with the love of Jesus and solar power for transformative, lasting impact. The ministry describes its work as “solar energy for good,” using renewable power as a practical way to serve vulnerable children, families, churches, schools, medical clinics, orphanages, community centers, and communities that lack reliable electricity.
The organization is based in Milford, Ohio, near Cincinnati, and serves communities in Latin America, Africa, the Caribbean, the United States, and other regions affected by energy poverty. SonLight Power states that it has equipped communities in 19 countries, completed more than 280 solar projects worldwide, and empowered an estimated 1 million lives through solar energy partnerships.
SonLight Power designs and builds solar energy systems for community venues such as schools, medical clinics, orphanages, community centers, churches, and water-pumping stations. These projects often bring electricity to places where reliable power has been unavailable or unaffordable. The ministry connects solar power with access to education, wellness, clean water, economic development, emergency preparedness, and renewed hope.
The ministry’s approach is designed to build local capacity rather than dependency. SonLight Power uses a blend of in-country and U.S.-based volunteers, experienced solar installers, engineers, mission partners, and community members. Its teams install systems while also training residents and partner organizations to understand, maintain, and care for the systems over time. This model reflects the ministry’s emphasis on sustainable energy solutions, practical training, and long-term community empowerment.
SonLight Power also multiplies its impact by equipping other mission organizations. Through project development, consulting, mission teams, Solar School, partnerships, and capacity-building efforts, the ministry helps churches, nonprofits, and mission agencies evaluate and implement solar solutions for their own work. Its experience includes more than 20 years of service and more than 260 designed projects, with many located in Latin America and Africa.
People can engage with SonLight Power by praying, giving, joining a mission trip, sponsoring a project, attending Solar School, volunteering, interning, subscribing to updates, or contacting the team about solar for a mission, church, school, or community project. Its distinct contribution is combining Christian witness, renewable energy expertise, mission partnerships, volunteer mobilization, and local training to help communities move from energy poverty toward sustainable power and hope.

Shepherds Global Classroom, also known as SGC, is a Christian training ministry that provides free Christ-centered theological curriculum for emerging pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders around the world. Its motto is “Christ-centered. Training. Everywhere.” The ministry exists to equip the body of Christ by providing curriculum for leaders who may not have access to formal theological education.
The organization is connected with Cincinnati, Ohio, and serves Christian leaders in more than 100 countries through online courses, downloadable curriculum, translations, audio resources, mobile app access, and training partnerships. SGC’s materials are especially designed for places where pastors and church leaders are under-resourced but eager for biblical and theological training.
Shepherds Global Classroom began in 2012 after founder Tim Keep and other missionary trainers taught pastors and lay leaders in East Africa. The experience revealed a need for theological resources that were robust, simple, reproducible, and adaptable to local settings. SGC developed to meet that need by creating curriculum that local leaders can use in homes, churches, cafés, refugee camps, Bible schools, seminaries, and informal classrooms.
The ministry’s curriculum includes 20 foundational courses for a two- to three-year non-formal theological training program. Course areas include Doctrinal Foundations, Bible Survey, Evangelism and Discipleship, Christian Leadership, Church History, and SGC Resources. Courses include topics such as Christian Beliefs, Romans, Eschatology, Exploring the Old Testament, Exploring the New Testament, Biblical Evangelism and Discipleship, Spiritual Formation, Ministry Leadership, The Life and Ministry of Jesus, Principles of Communication, Introduction to Christian Worship, and Survey of Church History.
A major distinctive of Shepherds Global Classroom is its emphasis on free access and broad translation. The curriculum is available digitally at no cost, and the ministry allows printing and distribution under its stated guidelines. SGC makes courses available in more than 30 languages, including English, French, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, Portuguese, Thai, Kiswahili, Nepali, Hindi, Romanian, Ukrainian, Urdu, Amharic, Turkish, Haitian Creole, Polish, and others.
People can engage with Shepherds Global Classroom by downloading courses, using the mobile app, launching a local classroom, requesting a Memorandum of Understanding for group printing and distribution, subscribing to updates, donating, or connecting with the ministry about training partnerships. Its distinct contribution is free, reproducible theological curriculum that helps local Christian leaders establish indigenous, informal, and non-formal Bible training programs worldwide.

SeedPlayer is a Christian nonprofit project of Resources for the Blind International that makes simple, low-cost solar mp3 players for abundant sowing of Gospel seed. The ministry partners with other organizations to reduce the cost of audio Bibles and Gospel content so Scripture and discipleship resources can reach people who may not have regular access to printed materials, digital devices, reliable electricity, or literacy-based learning.
The project is connected with Knoxville, Tennessee, and operates through a geographically dispersed, all-volunteer team. SeedPlayers have been used in Cameroon, Costa Rica, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, East Africa, East Asia, Ethiopia, former Soviet republics, Ghana, Guatemala, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, North Africa, Panama, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Asia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, the United States, Vietnam, and Zambia.
SeedPlayer’s ministry model is built around collaboration. The organization does not sell players for personal use. Instead, it works with like-minded people, churches, and ministries to source, assemble, format, and load players for specific outreach projects. Its parent organization maintains oversight of gifts, and the all-volunteer structure helps keep costs low for Gospel distribution projects.
The SeedPlayer device functions like a small audio “bookcase” with shelves for ministry-specific content such as Old Testament, New Testament, evangelistic materials, Gospel music, teaching, testimonies, and other mp3 resources. It includes an internal speaker, optional earbuds, solar and USB charging, an 8GB microSD card, and four-level navigation for shelf, book, chapter, and page movement. These features are designed for private listening, small groups, and field settings where printed materials or internet access may not be practical.
SeedPlayer also helps ministry partners use audio content from multiple Bible and Gospel resource providers. Publicly listed content sources include BibleProject, Davar Partners, Digital Bible Library, Faith Comes By Hearing, Global Recordings Network, Inspirational Films, Institute for Bible Translation, Jesus Film Project, Oral Bibles, Songs for Saplings, and Word of God Speak Ministries. The organization notes that these sources allow SeedPlayers to carry Gospel audio content in many languages.
People can engage with SeedPlayer by praying, giving, requesting the newsletter, contacting the team about a collaborative project, helping with expertise or resources, and supporting projects for groups such as blind disciple-makers, soldiers, hospitalized people, international students, refugees, and language communities receiving newly dedicated Scripture. Its distinct contribution is low-cost, solar-powered Gospel audio distribution designed for broad, flexible use among people who need Scripture and Gospel resources in accessible audio form.

Rescued Not Arrested is a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit prison ministry that exists to reach incarcerated people and their loved ones with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Great Commission. The ministry serves youth and adults in jails, prisons, correctional facilities, and re-entry settings through Bible distribution, evangelistic outreach, testimony, chaplain support, and volunteer service.
The organization is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and serves incarcerated people and families across Arizona, the United States, and international ministry locations. Its public materials describe work with county jail facilities, the Arizona State Juvenile Correctional Department, chaplains nationwide, and mission outreach connected to countries including Belize, China, Costa Rica, Kenya, Kerala India, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, and Zimbabwe.
Rescued Not Arrested’s ministry began from the story of founder Roger Munchian, who developed a passion for outreach to people in jail and prison after his own experience of incarceration and spiritual transformation. The organization’s message emphasizes that people can be “rescued” through Christ rather than defined by arrest, conviction, or incarceration. Its work is aimed at both the incarcerated and the loved ones who carry fear, grief, and uncertainty outside prison walls.
A central part of the ministry is providing English and Spanish NIV Bibles and NIV Life Application Study Bibles to inmates and chaplains free of charge. Rescued Not Arrested states that it provides Bibles upon request from inmates and chaplains nationwide, with Life Application Study Bibles connected to completion of a nine-lesson correspondence Bible study through American Bible Academy. The ministry also provides Bibles to jail and juvenile correctional settings and has supplied chaplains with large quantities of Scripture resources.
Rescued Not Arrested also serves through re-entry support, facility outreach, baptisms, testimony sharing, volunteer service, and practical care. Its re-entry program is connected with Arizona 2nd Chance programs in state, federal, and county facilities, providing resources for inmates preparing for release. The ministry also notes that it provides prescription eyeglasses and eye exams for inmates needing vision screening.
People can engage with Rescued Not Arrested by donating, volunteering, supporting Bible distribution, serving through approved prison outreach opportunities, participating in ministry events, praying for incarcerated people and families, or contacting the ministry about chaplain requests and service opportunities. Its distinct contribution is a Gospel-centered prison ministry that combines Scripture distribution, correctional facility outreach, re-entry support, testimony, international missions, and practical care for incarcerated people and their loved ones.

Hasten International Ministries, commonly presented as HASTEN International, is a Christian medical missions organization based in Kernersville, North Carolina. Its public theme is “Health and Salvation to Every Nation,” drawn from Psalm 67:2, and its work focuses on helping medical and ministry partners bring both physical care and the message of Christ to underserved communities.
The organization’s core focus is supporting Christian medical missions through healthcare, evangelism, local partnerships, supplies, facilities, and financial support for field workers. HASTEN describes its work as supporting physicians, nurses, clinic workers, pastors, educators, and churches who often serve with limited resources in communities with many basic needs.
HASTEN International serves ministry partners in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Haiti, Mexico, Zimbabwe, and the United States. Its mission fields include medical and dental care in Villavicencio, Colombia; a clinic in Gonaives, Haiti; support for medical work in the Dominican Republic; a clinic connected with Workers for Mexico in Monclova, Coahuila; and medical ministry connected with Dama in Zimbabwe. Its U.S. work includes a mobile medical mission effort for impoverished and underserved areas.
The organization operates by funding and supporting local Christian workers who understand the needs of their own communities. HASTEN states that it is often more effective to send funds rather than material goods because indigenous Christian partners can identify what is needed locally, whether that is medicine, transportation, food, medical supplies, or other resources. This approach allows field workers to respond within their own cultural and ministry contexts.
A distinctive part of HASTEN’s ministry is connecting medical care with Christian witness through locally led clinics, church relationships, and practical compassion. In the Dominican Republic, its partner clinic serves underprivileged people and is used on Sundays as a Christian church. In Colombia, HASTEN supports medical and dental services in Villavicencio. In Mexico, clinic workers also travel to villages and churches with medicines, hygiene items, clothing, school supplies, and gospel literature.
People can engage with HASTEN International by praying, giving financially, becoming a Friend of HASTEN, contacting the ministry, or supporting its medical mission fields and domestic mobile medical mission. The organization depends on donations and invites supporters to help provide care, hope, and improved quality of life through gospel-centered medical outreach in hard-to-reach and underserved communities.

The school was founded in 1945 by Harland Cary and his wife, Frances, after they saw the need for biblical and ministry training among Spanish-speaking communities. Colegio Biblico later expanded its work in Mexico, and its official materials state that in 1996 it began operating on both sides of the border. This binational campus structure remains one of the school’s key distinctives.

CMI is connected with leadership in Arizona and serves mission workers across 110 countries. CMI operates through coaching, coach training, workshops, courses, mentoring, and volunteer support. GO Ministries is a Christian missions organization focused on empowering local leaders to make disciples through long-term ministry partnerships and short-term mission teams. Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, the organization works primarily alongside local leaders in the Dominican Republic while also supporting disciple-making efforts in additional contexts, including Haiti, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States.
GO Ministries describes its mission as empowering local leaders to make disciples “as God redeems people, renews communities and restores creation through mutual transformation.” In practice, that emphasis shows up in how GO structures its work: rather than running disconnected projects, GO aims to strengthen existing leaders, churches, and community relationships so that ministry momentum is owned locally and can multiply over time.
GO’s work is organized into three focused areas of ministry: GO Church Planting, GO Medical, and GO Sports. Church Planting partnerships support pastors and planters as they form disciple-making communities and develop new leaders. GO Church Planting also shares a specific growth aim—planting 1,000 churches in 10 years—and notes partnerships across hundreds of communities in multiple countries. In addition, GO Church Planting includes ministry within prison contexts in the Dominican Republic.
GO Medical focuses on expanding access to care by partnering with medical professionals and hosting mobile clinic efforts that include triage, provider assessment, pharmacy, and prayer. GO Sports uses athletics as a relational platform to share the gospel and disciple athletes and their communities. Across each area, GO invites churches, students, and individuals to engage through structured trips that support local leaders and community needs.
Short-term mission trips are a major on-ramp for involvement. GO teams typically serve alongside Dominican and Haitian leaders through children’s and student ministry activities, discipleship groups, service projects, worship gatherings, and (depending on the trip focus) clinics or sports outreach. GO also provides trip preparation resources to help teams understand expectations, cross-cultural engagement, and how their week connects to ongoing local ministry.
Beyond trips, GO offers ways to participate through giving and sponsorship. Their Disciple-First Sponsorship framework includes options connected to each ministry focus (including GO Kids), allowing supporters to direct resources toward disciple-making work that is already happening in partner communities. GO also develops training infrastructure in the Dominican Republic through the Leadership Development Complex, positioned as a place where emerging leaders can be equipped and then sent back into their communities as disciple-makers.
