The North American Christian Convention meets in Kansas City in just a couple of weeks. Standard Publishing is pleased to help sponsor this one-of-a-kind connecting place””it”s a unique opportunity to fellowship with Christians from around the world and share with them in a week of inspiration, worship, and learning.
It”s not too late for you to make your plans to attend at least a day of the convention, July 3-6. Get all the information you need at www.nacctheconnectingplace.org. Meanwhile, we want to tell you about some special events and experiences Standard Publishing is hosting. We hope to see you there!
Come to the booth. It opens at noon on Tuesday and remains open till after the Thursday night session. This year”s Standard Publishing display offers you a first look at useful, new resources for your ministry and the chance to take some home at special convention prices. Author visits, giveaways, and the chance to meet some of us from Standard Publishing””all are reasons to come see us in the NACC exhibit hall.
Stop by the Resource Center. The NACC “bookstore” stocks resources recommended by convention speakers as well as books and other material they have written. Standard Publishing sponsors and presents the resource center as a service to the convention””and you.
Visit the reception. Convention President Alan Ahlgrim is a member of our Publishing Committee. To honor him and to help the convention, Standard Publishing is cosponsoring the President”s Reception after the Tuesday-evening main session.
Attend a Ministers Mentoring Breakfast. We”re pleased this year to be cosponsoring these events Wednesday and Thursday mornings. One of the most helpful features of each convention, these breakfasts place seasoned ministers with newer servants for a morning of encouragement and advice.
Meet and greet Standard Publishing authors. You know their names. You may or may not have seen the new resources they”ve published with Standard Publishing. Learn more, get acquainted, and maybe even ask for an autograph.
