Churches Encouraged to Complete Our Annual Survey

by | 18 January, 2022 | 0 comments

All independent Christian churches and churches of Christ are encouraged to participate in Christian Standard’s annual survey, which is now available online.

The survey for churches of all sizes provides data that Christian Standard shares with readers concerning church and ministry trends, finances, staff size, baptisms, growth, etc.

Researcher Kent Fillinger designs the survey with input from Christian Standard’s editors. He collects the data, crunches the numbers, and uses the information for articles that appear not only in our May/June issue, but in his Metrics columns for months following. Additionally, survey insights are considered as editors develop issues and assign news stories over the next year.

“The year 2021 was still strange as we never fully escaped the long-ranging effects of the pandemic,” Fillinger said. “But capturing the stories and statistics from 2021 is super important! It is vital for us to gauge the ongoing impact of the pandemic on our churches and establish baselines to measure future growth and changes.”

“Your participation will provide valuable information for our movement to celebrate and to learn from.”
