Primary responsibilities include:

Helping the elders shepherd the congregation through teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.
Creating engaging, Bible-based sermons that lead non-believers to accept Christ and be baptized.
Equipping church members for spiritual growth and service.
Teaching adult Sunday School classes.
Leading Wednesday night Bible studies or other small groups as needed.
Supporting the church’s various ministries so the congregation continues to reach the local community.
Providing Christian counseling.
Performing baptisms.
Officiating weddings and funerals.
Working with the Worship Director to coordinate Sunday services and special events.
Offering pastoral care through support and visitation for members in need, including hospital visits.
Collaborating with elders and ministry leaders to guide church direction according to God’s will.
