Nashville Christian Church is seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to serve as the primary pastor, communicator, spiritual shepherd, and visionary leader for the congregation. Founded in 1888 as an independent Restoration Movement Christian Church, Nashville Christian Church is a debt-free congregation of roughly 125 to 150 people located about 40 miles south of Indianapolis. The church has been blessed with a multi-building campus that includes the church, office and administrative space, a Field House for youth ministry, and the Life House for small groups, gatherings, and after-service discussions. The Lead Pastor will work closely with the elders to guide the church and help ensure healthy ministry systems are in place for the whole congregation.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Serving as the church’s primary pastor, communicator, and spiritual shepherd.
- Operating as the visionary leader of Nashville Christian Church.
- Guiding the church alongside the elders.
- Providing overall leadership to the church and staff team.
- Ensuring there are healthy systems in place for evangelism, discipleship, community outreach, compassion, leadership development, and pastoral care.
- Reporting directly to the NCC Elder team.
