Woodburn Christian Children’s Home is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, state-licensed, faith-based residential children’s home located near Fort Wayne, Indiana. The ministry’s mission is to provide a Christian home for children in need and minister to children and families on physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual levels. WCCH serves boys and girls ages 6–21 in family-style homes on a 30-acre campus.
The organization is based in Woodburn, Indiana, and accepts private placements, including placements from the Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio tri-state area. WCCH does not contract with DCS and describes its placement process as private, assessment-based, and focused on children who can function in a least-restrictive Christian family environment. The ministry states that children accepted into care must be willing participants in the program.
WCCH’s residential program is built around consistent Christian family living. Children participate in daily chores, family activities, prayer, devotions, corporate worship, youth group, and special events. The home also supports physical development through life-skill training, exercise, nutrition, recreation, and medical and dental care. Educational support includes school placement, monitoring academic progress, tutoring, and communication with teachers.
The ministry also provides Christian counseling, emotional support, and treatment planning for children in care. Its program includes individual and group counseling, weekly treatment-team reviews, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT approaches. WCCH measures outcomes through goals such as high school graduation, return home when appropriate, improved school performance, and healthier social interaction.
In addition to residential care, WCCH has expanded its work through community counseling and strategic campus development. Its Community Counseling Program offers mental health and pastoral counseling for community members and surrounding churches. The ministry’s “Strong and Courageous” strategic expansion includes a completed Learning and Counseling Center and plans for additional housing and transitional support for older youth and young adults.
People can engage with Woodburn Christian Children’s Home through prayer, private donations, pantry needs, volunteer work projects, annual fundraisers, the Legacy Fund, benefit auction, golf outing, counseling referrals, and child placement inquiries. WCCH states that it receives no federal, state, or county support and is funded through voluntary contributions from churches, individuals, businesses, community partners, and private foundations.

Show-Me Christian Youth Home is a Christian residential child-care ministry that is compelled by Christ to rescue and restore young lives. Since 1967, Show-Me has provided safe, stable, loving homes and families for children and youth facing difficult circumstances in their current home environments. Its care is designed to help each child grow physically, academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The ministry is based in La Monte, Missouri, with additional locations in Barnett, Galt, and Mayview, Missouri. Show-Me serves children and families in Missouri and surrounding communities, offering an alternative to state-based foster care for children who need a stable family setting. Boys, girls, and sibling groups may be considered for placement when the ministry determines it can provide a safe and appropriate environment.
Show-Me’s residential model is built around traditional family settings with trained houseparents and six to eight children living as siblings in each home. Children participate in daily family life, learn responsibility through household contributions, and benefit from consistent structure, spiritual guidance, healthy role models, and a Christ-centered neighborhood of support. The ministry also provides professional counseling to help children process trauma, overwhelming emotions, and life challenges.
Education and life preparation are important parts of Show-Me’s care. The ministry offers individualized education through its private Christian school and provides leadership and transition programs. Leadership U helps students develop service, knowledge, confidence, and wisdom through hands-on animal care, horsemanship, Scripture memory, apologetics, mentoring, and public-speaking opportunities. Path to Purpose helps older students prepare for adulthood through career exploration, job shadowing, life skills, money management, driver’s education, mentorship, and transition support.
Show-Me also works with parents, guardians, relatives, volunteers, churches, and donors. The ministry does not take legal custody of children; instead, it uses a temporary delegation of powers agreement with the parent or guardian so the child can receive care while healthy family relationships and reunification possibilities remain part of the process. Care is offered at no required cost to families because expenses are privately funded by donors.
People can engage with Show-Me Christian Youth Home by praying, giving, volunteering, touring the ministry, helping with current needs, supporting family care, participating in events, or beginning a placement conversation for a child in need. Its distinct contribution is donor-supported, Christ-centered residential care that combines family homes, counseling, individualized education, leadership development, and transition support for vulnerable children and youth.

Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch is a Christian residential care ministry that provides loving Christian homes for abused, neglected, and other at-risk children. Founded in 1977, Shiloh exists to meet the spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and educational needs of children who need safety, stability, and family-centered care.
The ranch is based in rural Northeast Missouri, with its mailing office in Shelbina, Missouri and its residential homes now centered at the Clarence, Missouri site. Shiloh serves children from throughout the United States, ages birth to 15, when the ministry determines that its family-based setting can meet a child’s individual needs. The ranch does not charge families, insurance providers, or government agencies for care.
Shiloh’s ministry model is built around traditional Christian homes led by married homeparents who provide daily structure, nurture, biblical teaching, and family life. Children live in homes that function much like family households, with chores, meals, school, outings, church involvement, devotions, youth group, summer camps, and other shared experiences. The ranch setting also gives children opportunities to learn responsibility, work ethic, animal care, and accountability.
Education and counseling are important parts of Shiloh’s care. The ministry uses multiple educational options, including faith-based on-site schooling, off-site Christian school, public school, and tutoring according to each child’s needs. Shiloh also provides mental health care through Christian licensed counselors, with support determined by the child’s caregivers and situation.
The placement process is individualized rather than first-come, first-served. Shiloh reviews applications, provider records, educational needs, homeparent strengths, available openings, and the needs of children already in the home before accepting a placement. This process is intended to help determine whether Shiloh can provide the safest and most beneficial environment for a particular child.
People can engage with Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch by giving financially, volunteering, supporting work projects, praying, scheduling a presentation, learning about employment opportunities, or contacting the ministry about placement. Its distinct contribution is a no-cost, donor-supported Christian residential care ministry that offers vulnerable children safety, stability, spiritual formation, education, counseling, and family life in a rural ranch setting.

Central Bible University, formerly known as Central Christian College of the Bible (CCCB), is a Bible college that trains students for church and kingdom service through residential, online, and extension-based education. The school’s stated mission is to educate biblical servants for a faithful life of kingdom ministry, combining biblical study with practical preparation for ministry in the local church, the marketplace, and mission settings.
Central Bible University was founded in 1957 in Moberly, Missouri, with an original purpose to “recruit and train leadership for the church at large according to the New Testament teaching.” Today, the college describes its identity through Restoration Movement roots and a commitment to biblical authority, while also serving “the church at large.” Alongside its main campus, CCCB highlights “multiple locations” for ministry education, naming Moberly, Missouri, St. Louis, Missouri, and Cincinnati (Florence, Kentucky), as well as online delivery.
Academically, Central Bible University offers programs at the associate, bachelor’s, and master’s levels. Degree pathways include Bible and Theology, Christian Counseling, and ministry-focused studies such as General Ministries, NextGen Ministry, and Preaching. The college also offers an Integrated Studies track described as partnership-based, reflecting Central Bible University’s emphasis on collaboration and flexible delivery to meet ministry training needs in different regions.
Central Bible University also emphasizes hands-on formation through campus life and spiritual development rhythms. Chapel and other spiritual engagement opportunities are presented as part of a broader discipleship culture, where students are encouraged toward corporate worship, personal growth, and service. The college frames this formation as relational and community-centered, pairing academic instruction with mentoring and shared life.
In recent years, Central Bible University has expanded its footprint through institutional partnerships and organizational change. The college opened a Cincinnati extension site in connection with a relationship announced in 2019 involving Cincinnati Christian University, and later completed a formal merger with St. Louis Christian College. Central Bible University notes the merger was approved by trustees in October 2021 and accepted by the Missouri Secretary of State on December 5, 2022, with the merged institution continuing under the legal name Central Christian College of the Bible. The name was officially changed in 2026 to Central Bible University.
People can engage Central Bible University in several practical ways. Prospective students can apply, schedule a visit, or explore online education options designed for working adults and students who cannot relocate. Churches, alumni, and friends can partner through giving and planned-gift opportunities that support affordable ministry education and the preparation of future Christian workers.
