Woodburn Christian Children’s Home is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, state-licensed, faith-based residential children’s home located near Fort Wayne, Indiana. The ministry’s mission is to provide a Christian home for children in need and minister to children and families on physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual levels. WCCH serves boys and girls ages 6–21 in family-style homes on a 30-acre campus.
The organization is based in Woodburn, Indiana, and accepts private placements, including placements from the Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio tri-state area. WCCH does not contract with DCS and describes its placement process as private, assessment-based, and focused on children who can function in a least-restrictive Christian family environment. The ministry states that children accepted into care must be willing participants in the program.
WCCH’s residential program is built around consistent Christian family living. Children participate in daily chores, family activities, prayer, devotions, corporate worship, youth group, and special events. The home also supports physical development through life-skill training, exercise, nutrition, recreation, and medical and dental care. Educational support includes school placement, monitoring academic progress, tutoring, and communication with teachers.
The ministry also provides Christian counseling, emotional support, and treatment planning for children in care. Its program includes individual and group counseling, weekly treatment-team reviews, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT approaches. WCCH measures outcomes through goals such as high school graduation, return home when appropriate, improved school performance, and healthier social interaction.
In addition to residential care, WCCH has expanded its work through community counseling and strategic campus development. Its Community Counseling Program offers mental health and pastoral counseling for community members and surrounding churches. The ministry’s “Strong and Courageous” strategic expansion includes a completed Learning and Counseling Center and plans for additional housing and transitional support for older youth and young adults.
People can engage with Woodburn Christian Children’s Home through prayer, private donations, pantry needs, volunteer work projects, annual fundraisers, the Legacy Fund, benefit auction, golf outing, counseling referrals, and child placement inquiries. WCCH states that it receives no federal, state, or county support and is funded through voluntary contributions from churches, individuals, businesses, community partners, and private foundations.

Maritime Christian College — Organization Profile Maritime Christian College (MCC) is a Christian college committed to biblical higher education and ministry formation. Based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, MCC traces its roots to 1960 and operates today with a clear purpose: to biblically educate and equip people to become disciples of Jesus who make disciples. While its office and mailing address remain in Charlottetown, MCC emphasizes that its learning model is designed for students who need flexibility alongside work, family, and ministry responsibilities. MCC’s approach is built around Scripture as the central textbook and reference point for training. Maritime Christian College (MCC) is a Christian college committed to biblical higher education and ministry formation.
The college describes its role as preparing men and women for Christian service—training students to preach, teach, and live in harmony with God’s Word. Historically connected with the Restoration Movement tradition (Christian churches and churches of Christ), MCC’s focus is practical preparation for disciple-focused ministry and leadership in local churches and everyday contexts.
A defining distinctive of MCC today is that its platform is completely online, which expands access beyond a single campus setting. Students engage courses through an asynchronous structure that includes readings, discussion posts, and assignments within a weekly schedule. This model supports learners who live far from a residential Bible college or who are already serving in ministry and want structured training without relocating.
MCC highlights several program pathways, including its Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership, which provides advanced leadership training for disciple-focused ministry, and certificate programs designed to build core biblical skills. The Disciple Makers Path is presented as a short sequence of courses intended to help students develop practical disciple-making confidence, and the “How to Study the Bible” certificate is designed to strengthen foundational skills for reading and interpreting Scripture.
Alongside academics, MCC builds community through shared learning and ongoing communication with supporters. The college hosts the KT Norris Lectures as an annual gathering featuring a guest speaker and worship, and it publishes the Maritime Messenger to keep students, alumni, donors, and friends updated on MCC life and events. For those who want to participate beyond enrollment, MCC offers multiple giving pathways—including general donations, a monthly FRIENDS program, and a Legacy Fund—to support disciple-making education with a global reach through online learning.
