Village Missions — Organization Profile Village Missions is a Christian mission organization focused on helping country churches thrive by placing full-time missionary pastors in rural communities. The ministry exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches, especially in small towns and rural areas where congregations may otherwise struggle to secure pastoral leadership or remain open. Founded in 1948, Village Missions serves rural North America, including the United States and Canada. Its work centers on local churches that invite Village Missions to provide pastoral leadership. The organization places spiritually qualified missionary-pastors in these congregations, where they preach, teach, provide pastoral care, and build relationships across the wider community. Village Missions is a Christian mission organization focused on helping country churches thrive by placing full-time missionary pastors in rural communities.
The ministry’s model is built around long-term pastoral presence in small-town and country churches. Village Missionaries are not sent only to lead Sunday services; they are expected to become part of the life of the community through home visits, Bible studies, youth and adult activities, Vacation Bible Schools, discipleship, and other local ministry opportunities. Many also serve in civic and community roles such as coaching, teaching, volunteering, or helping with local needs.
Village Missions operates through a support structure that includes recruiting, equipping, sending, and caring for missionary pastors and interns. District Representatives visit and encourage missionaries, while staff conferences provide ongoing training and refreshment. The organization also supports future rural ministry leaders through internships, pastoral application pathways, and leadership-development efforts such as the Contenders Discipleship Initiative and Rural Ministry Leadership resources.
The ministry is based in Dallas, Oregon, with additional Canadian leadership connected to Village Missions Canada. Its church-locator resources identify Village Missions churches across numerous U.S. states and Canadian provinces, reflecting the organization’s emphasis on preserving a gospel presence in rural communities throughout North America.
People can engage with Village Missions by praying, giving, becoming a prayer partner, subscribing to Country Matters Magazine, applying for an internship, applying to serve as a Village Missionary pastor, sponsoring Vacation Bible School, supporting specific missionaries or projects, or connecting through strategic rural ministry resources. Churches and ministry leaders can also learn through Village Missions’ rural ministry websites, conferences, books, and leadership-development materials.

iHOPE Ministries is a Christian nonprofit with mailing operations in Garland, Texas. The organization exists to ignite and equip believers and churches to boldly reveal Christ across faiths. Its public vision is a movement of believers revealing Christ to the world, with a focus on helping everyday Christians share Jesus with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
The organization’s core focus is equipping churches, women, families, youth, and individual believers to share Jesus across cultures, faiths, and everyday relationships. iHOPE Ministries works especially in the discipleship gap where many Christians want to share their faith but feel unprepared to engage neighbors from different religious or cultural backgrounds. Its approach emphasizes Scripture-rooted discipleship, Spirit-led witness, relational courage, and practical training.
iHOPE Ministries serves believers and churches across North America, while focusing on gospel witness among people from least-reached nations who now live in local communities as refugees, immigrants, international students, neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and friends. Its public materials name Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and other-faith neighbors as part of the ministry context it helps Christians engage with wisdom and love.
The organization operates through discipleship pathways, books, podcasts, church resources, speaking, online learning, and training experiences. Its ETHNOS Course™ is a discipleship pathway that helps individuals, small groups, youth, outreach teams, and churches share Jesus across cultures and faiths. The course uses short teaching videos, Scripture, real-life stories, practical application, group discussion, and action steps to help participants move from fear and uncertainty toward faithful witness.
A distinctive part of iHOPE Ministries’ work is forming everyday believers for cross-cultural gospel witness rather than only providing evangelism information. Its Blue Cord™ initiative equips women to live courageously as authentic witnesses in daily life and to model faith-sharing for the next generation. The Blue Cord includes a book, podcast, group study, conference, and related resources connected with Karen Bejjani’s work with women and families.
People can engage with iHOPE Ministries by taking the ETHNOS Course, bringing ETHNOS to a church, using The Blue Cord resources, listening to the podcast, reading iHOPE books, joining the email community, inviting the ministry to speak, praying, giving, or sharing resources with a church or small group. Donors can support the ministry online or by mail, helping iHOPE equip more believers to share Christ across cultures and faiths.

China Outreach Ministries (COM) is a Christian mission organization focused on international student ministry among Chinese students, scholars, researchers, and professionals studying or working in American university settings. The organization describes its mission as “Giving Christ to China’s Future Leaders” by sharing Christ’s love and truth, developing caring relationships, leading people to faith, discipling new believers, and preparing them to become multiplying Christian leaders.
COM is based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and serves in university communities across the United States. Its listed campus locations include university communities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Washington, DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. Through these campus communities, COM serves Chinese students and scholars who are temporarily living in North America for study, research, or professional development.
The organization’s work centers on hospitality, friendship, practical service, Bible studies, evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. COM staff and volunteers help Chinese students and scholars adapt to life in America through social activities, transportation, cultural orientation, conversational English, trips, fellowship groups, and other forms of practical support. As relationships develop, staff and volunteers also share Christian teaching and invite students into Bible study and discipleship.
COM’s approach is relational and campus-based. The organization places campus workers in university communities where Chinese students and scholars are present, while administrative and leadership staff support recruitment, training, finances, communication, and ministry development. COM also works with local churches and other ministries when possible, helping new believers grow in Christian faith and prepare to live as followers of Jesus in their families, communities, and professions.
The ministry also provides tools for people involved in Chinese student ministry. Its resource materials include articles, Bible studies, recipes, skits, evangelism tools, and other downloadable resources created or compiled by COM staff. COM also publishes IMPACT magazine three times per year, sharing testimonies, campus ministry updates, planned giving information, and ministry news for prayer and partner engagement.

The Association of College Ministries (ACM) is an international network of Christian campus ministries that exists to support students and campus ministers in university settings. The organization describes itself as a collective of college ministries, most with roots in the Restoration Movement, working together to advance the Great Commission. Its public mission is to bring glory to God on the university campus, with a vision to advance Jesus’ mission among college students all around the world.
ACM serves college students, campus ministers, and independent campus ministries connected with non-denominational Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. The organization’s member ministries are listed across campuses in the United States and, according to ACM’s history page, also operate in Europe, Asia, Australia/Oceania, South America, and North America outside the United States. Its network includes campus houses, Christian student fellowships, campus foundations, and other locally governed campus ministries.
The organization operates primarily as a connecting and resourcing association rather than as a single campus ministry with one physical location. ACM’s website states that the association itself does not have a physical office or phone number because it is made up of individual campus ministries around the world. Students are encouraged to search for a nearby ministry, while campus ministers can use ACM for networking, conferences, resources, job postings, and shared support.
ACM’s work is organized around four stated design emphases: Encourage, Equip, Empower, and Engage. These emphases include support, networking, collaboration, preparation, training, resourcing, recruiting, strengthening, planting, education, influence, and exposure. The association provides ministry resources, promotes campus-ministry best practices, lists open ministry roles, and helps member ministries connect with one another across campuses and regions.
A major ACM program is the E4 Conference, which is designed to equip, empower, encourage, and engage campus ministers as they serve on university campuses and beyond. The organization also hosts FOUR, an online gathering for ACM network members, and provides membership options for campus ministries that want access to conferences, discounted registrations, social media networking, newsletters, webinars, and job openings among ACM ministries.
People can engage with the Association of College Ministries by searching for a campus ministry, contacting ACM through its website form, applying for campus ministry membership, attending E4 or FOUR, reviewing open positions, paying membership dues online, or becoming a Kingdom Partner. Because local ACM ministries are independently governed, students, churches, alumni, and other supporters may also connect directly with listed campus ministries for local involvement, prayer, service, and financial support.

Alongside its daily digital content and events, RENEW.org identifies print books as one of its core ministry channels—developing and recommending titles intended to help church leaders and everyday disciples think clearly, live faithfully, and engage culture with conviction and compassion. RENEW.org’s books are positioned as practical resources shaped by “good theology” and culturally relevant engagement. RENEW.org is a collaborative network that exists to renew the teachings of Jesus to fuel disciple making.
In its own description of the network, RENEW.org explains that it creates and publishes books for church leaders, churches, and everyday disciples, with a focus on educating laypeople and parents so they can be disciples and make disciples. This publishing focus fits within RENEW.org’s broader strategy of equipping leaders through multiple channels, including learning communities, mentoring/training, and gatherings.
On the RENEW.org Books page, the organization curates a list of titles and directs readers to purchase through Amazon. The list includes works spanning discipleship formation, theological clarity, and cultural engagement. Examples include titles such as Rhythms: How to Live as a Disciple of Jesus, The Disciple’s Mind: Thinking Like a Disciple of Jesus, Baptism According to Scripture, and guided conversation resources like Following Jesus in a Politically Divided World and Trust and Follow Jesus. RENEW.org also highlights books that address contemporary questions and pressures facing churches and families, pairing biblical teaching with accessible application.
Beyond print books, RENEW.org also distributes free digital resources. Its “Free eBooks” library is organized by topic (e.g., Discipleship & Disciple Making, Bible & Theology, Cultural Engagement, Spiritual Disciplines & Practices) and includes both full resources and preview downloads. This approach helps leaders sample content, build discussion guides, and access teaching tools that can be used in churches, small groups, or personal study.
RENEW.org’s online store functions as another access point for resources, including eBooks, learning community items, and related tools. For churches that want to place books in the hands of teams or groups, RENEW.org also notes a process for bulk purchasing: for orders of 20+ of a single title, readers are instructed to contact the organization directly by email.
RENEW.org lists giving and partnership options for those who want to support the publishing and broader equipping work, and it provides clear pathways for staying connected through newsletters, events, and ongoing resources. The organization’s support page includes a mailing address in Franklin, Tennessee, reflecting its operational base for donor correspondence, while its network and resources serve leaders and disciples across North America and beyond through digital distribution.

RENEW.org is a collaborative Christian network that publishes resources and hosts events aimed at renewing Jesus’ teachings to fuel disciple making. The organization serves church leaders and everyday disciples who want a clearer, more faithful approach to following Jesus and helping others follow him. Through articles, videos, podcasts, learning opportunities, and curated tools, RENEW.org focuses on practical formation and church health with a consistent emphasis on disciple making.
A key equipping initiative from RENEW.org is the Leadership Alignment Training for Disciple Making (LATDM), a structured pathway designed to help a local church move toward a disciple making culture. The training is described as a 12-month process that aligns a church’s key leaders around theologically rich, relationally healthy disciple making. It is built for lead ministers/pastors and their leadership teams who want to unify around mission and method, rather than pursuing disconnected programs.
LATDM emphasizes six areas of alignment: preparation (including prayer and fasting), mission, theology, philosophy, organization, and relationships. In practice, that means leaders are guided toward shared clarity on what disciple making is, what the church is aiming for, and how to structure ministry to support it. The training also points leaders to RENEW.org’s theological summary (faith statement) as a reference point for doctrinal consistency across the team.
The experience is delivered as a training and mentoring journey with monthly meetings over roughly 10–12 months. Participants receive the RENEW.org training manual, ongoing mentoring from a RENEW.org-trained lead minister/pastor, and disciple making curriculum. The process also incorporates readings for the team and simple assessments, with the goal of helping churches change their “DNA” toward Jesus-style disciple making and establish systems that support long-term health rather than short-lived momentum.
RENEW.org’s leadership and content reflect its network approach. Bobby Harrington, a cofounder and point leader of RENEW.org, is also the founding and lead pastor of Harpeth Christian Church, located just outside Nashville (Tennessee). LATDM is positioned for churches across North America, especially those seeking practical coaching to strengthen alignment and reduce confusion or division as they pursue a disciple making mission.
Churches and leaders can engage with RENEW.org by exploring resources, joining the newsletter, attending gatherings or learning communities, and supporting the ministry financially. For those interested specifically in LATDM, the next step is simple: contact RENEW.org to begin the conversation and learn how the training is scheduled and implemented with a leadership team.

Mission Alive is a nonprofit ministry that helps Christians and local churches start and strengthen new expressions of church in underserved places. Based in Dallas, Texas, Mission Alive works primarily across North America, focusing on places and people who may be overlooked or disconnected from traditional church models.
A central part of Mission Alive’s work is equipping leaders to launch Innovative Faith Communities (IFCs)—new faith communities designed to engage real needs in a specific local context. Mission Alive describes its focus as developing these communities with an eye toward the transformation and flourishing of marginalized lives, combining spiritual formation with practical, long-term presence in a neighborhood or people group.
To support leaders in that calling, Mission Alive provides training, coaching, and ongoing encouragement. One key lane is Catalyze Coaching, a coach-training pathway that teaches ministry leaders to listen well, ask wise questions, and help others grow in calling and discipleship. Mission Alive also hosts Discipleship Cohorts, small groups that meet regularly to practice spiritual disciplines and deepen a life of listening and following God in community.
Mission Alive also invests in emerging leaders through the Outfitters Residency, a 12–24 month apprenticeship (with additional internship opportunities) connected with Mission Alive Network churches. This residency model is aimed at developing practical ministry skills, spiritual maturity, and missional habits in real ministry environments.
For those looking to engage, Mission Alive offers several practical on-ramps: learn about IFCs, explore training opportunities, subscribe to ministry updates, and give financially to support ongoing work. The organization also highlights Mission 813, a Mission Alive ministry that supports and encourages women serving as church planters and leaders.

SpireConference is an annual gathering hosted by The Spire Network that exists to encourage and equip leaders who are building healthy, growing churches. Designed primarily for pastors and church staff teams, the conference creates space for leaders to step away from weekly ministry demands, reconnect with their calling, and return with renewed vision and practical next steps.
The conference is part of Spire.Network’s broader mission to encourage and equip leaders who inspire a movement of healthy growing churches. Spire.Network describes its vision as pursuing measurable Kingdom impact by supporting church leaders with an emphasis on biblical authority, Christian unity, and the Great Commission. In that sense, SpireConference serves as a concentrated “gathering point” within an ongoing leadership platform that also includes community connection, resources, and pastor health support.
SpireConference programming typically includes worship, main-stage teaching, and a wide range of breakout sessions. Breakouts allow attendees to customize their learning around ministry responsibilities and current challenges, and the conference also creates intentional moments for peer-to-peer connection—helping leaders build relationships with others serving in similar roles and contexts. These relational components are not treated as side benefits; Spire frames connection and community as core outcomes of the experience.
The event also involves ministry partners and exhibitors, giving church leaders access to organizations, tools, and services that can support ministry strategy and church health. For teams attending together, the conference can function as shared training: leaders can learn, discuss, and plan as a group, then return home aligned around priorities and equipped to implement what they’ve learned.
Because it is an annual conference, SpireConference rotates among host venues and cities, drawing participants from across North America who are connected to the Spire.Network community. Spire.Network is based in Longmont, Colorado, and provides year-round connection points for leaders through its broader platform and communication channels.
People can engage with SpireConference by registering for the annual event, exploring conference details and resources through Spire.Network’s event pages, and sharing the opportunity with other leaders on their team. Churches and individuals can also support the work financially through Spire.Network’s giving options, helping sustain leadership encouragement, resourcing, and community connection for ministry leaders beyond the conference itself.

Exponential is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves the broader evangelical church planting community by accelerating the multiplication of healthy, reproducing faith communities. Rather than functioning as a planting network itself, Exponential works alongside church planters, church planting organizations, and movement leaders to strengthen the people and systems that lead to new churches and multiplying outcomes.
From its roots connected to the Christian Churches, Exponential has grown to serve leaders across many networks and denominations. Its work is designed to help leaders shift from addition-focused growth to multiplication-focused disciple making and church planting—equipping practitioners with shared language, tested frameworks, and practical next steps for movement-minded ministry.
A major way Exponential supports leaders is through national and regional gatherings, including its Global and U.S. conference events. These conferences convene planters, sending church leaders, network and denominational leaders, and ministry partners for main sessions, workshops, and peer connections that emphasize reproduction, leadership development, and movement health. Exponential also supports ongoing learning beyond events through its resource library, podcasts, books, and curated content channels.
Exponential’s equipping pathway includes online learning through Exponential School and other digital resources intended to strengthen leaders in church planting, multiplication strategy, and leadership capacity. In addition, Exponential develops communities where leaders can learn and sharpen one another through cohorts and learning communities, helping practitioners apply multiplication principles in real ministry contexts.
In recent years, Exponential has expanded its future-focused work through Exponential NEXT, which includes research projects, a podcast and articles, and NEXT Ventures—its Kingdom venture platform for identifying and supporting innovative projects on the future of the church. Exponential also stewards collaboration among church planting leaders through the Church Planting Leadership Fellowship (CPLF), a peer community of denominational and network leaders across North America who gather for collaborative learning and resourcing.
Exponential is based in Centreville, Virginia, and its equipping reach extends across North America and beyond through events, resources, and digital access. Individuals, churches, and partner organizations can engage by attending events, using free and paid resources, joining learning communities when eligible, and supporting the mission financially through Exponential’s giving options.
