Good Gaali/Good Girli โ Organization Profile
Good Gaali is a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving in Kabale, Uganda. The organizationโs mission is bringing love for humanity, the environment, and the good news of the gospel through the power of the bicycle. Its work focuses on using bicycles to deliver practical care, training, basic supplies, and spiritual encouragement to people facing difficult healthcare and family-care situations.
The organizationโs core focus is serving Patient Attendants and vulnerable families in Uganda through bicycle-powered care, health education, supplies, prayer, and gospel-centered service. In Uganda, hospitalized patients are often cared for by family members known as Patient Attendants or informal caregivers. Good Gaali works with these caregivers at Kabale Regional Referral Hospital by providing basic training, CarePacks, and prayer support as they care for hospitalized loved ones.
Good Gaali serves southwestern Uganda, with public ministry activity centered in Kabale and Kabale Regional Referral Hospital. Its site also references work connected to Hoima Regional Referral Hospital and rural community outreach. The organizationโs community outreach seeks to bring health education and discipleship โupstreamโ into villages, especially around preventive care, sanitation, hygiene, and family-care practices.
The organization operates through several connected programs. The Good Bike Program uses bamboo cargo bicycles to carry supplies to the hospital, where the team teaches basic caregiving information and provides items such as soap, hand sanitizer, masks, toilet paper, and food. Community Outreach sends riders into communities with health information and the good news of Jesus Christ. Come and Ride is a developing invitation for people to visit Uganda, serve with the team, and experience the ministry firsthand.
Good Girli is Good Gaaliโs sister venture and a local Ugandan business created to help mothers and girls address practical needs with dignity and love. Its work focuses on washable, reusable cloth diapers and washable, reusable menstrual shields and liners. From its workshop in Kabale, Good Girli seamstresses create reusable cloth diapers and sanitary pads, and Good Girli also partners with Wakisa Ministries in Kampala to produce environmentally friendly reusable feminine hygiene pads.
A distinctive part of Good Gaali/Good Girliโs work is combining Christian compassion, environmental stewardship, local employment, health education, and practical dignity for women, girls, caregivers, and families. People can engage by praying, giving, supporting CarePacks, sponsoring reusable diapers through the โDiaper Activeโ or โWaistband Warriorโ effort, volunteering, contacting the ministry, or learning about future ride-and-serve opportunities in Uganda.
