Philippine Mission Churches of Christ โ Organization Profile
Philippine Mission Churches of Christ USA, Inc., also known as PMCC-US, is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) mission organization that exists to assist, encourage, and empower independent Filipino-led ministries that share the Gospel of Christ through Christian education, medical evangelism, and church planting. Its work is connected to a long history of Restoration Movement mission activity in the Philippines, tracing roots to Leslie and Carrie Wolfeโs arrival in Manila in 1907.
The organization is based in Kingman, Arizona, and serves partner ministries across central and northern Luzon, Philippines. PMCC-US supports Filipino-led churches, schools, medical work, and ministry leaders while stating that it holds no legal ties to, nor governance over, the ministries it supports. Its role is to encourage, resource, visit, assess needs, and help connect U.S. churches and donors with ministry work in Luzon.
PMCC-US focuses on three primary ministry areas. Its Christian education work supports three academies: Northern Isabela Academy, Southern Isabela Academy, and Central Isabela Christian Academy. These schools are described as part of the missionโs effort to equip the next generation through quality Christ-centered education and leadership development.
Medical evangelism is represented through Charles W. Selby Memorial Hospital, Inc., a 35-bed hospital connected to the missionโs long-running work in northern Luzon. PMCC-US describes this area as transforming lives through medical care, physical healing, hope, and Gospel witness. This ministry emphasis reflects the organizationโs broader pattern of combining practical service with evangelism.
Church planting is carried out through partner ministries including Shore Line and Island Mission and Southern Cagayan Valley Mission. Shore Line and Island Mission focuses on planting and strengthening churches in Quezon and nearby regions, while Southern Cagayan Valley Mission is part of the missionโs church-planting work in northern Luzon. PMCC-US emphasizes training leaders, strengthening local congregations, and supporting Filipino-led outreach.
People can engage with Philippine Mission Churches of Christ by praying, giving, requesting a speaking engagement, exploring church partnership, reading ministry updates such as Island Echoes, using the prayer calendar, or contacting the organization directly. Its distinct contribution is supporting independent Filipino-led Christian ministries in Luzon through education, medical evangelism, church planting, leadership encouragement, and long-term U.S.-Philippines partnership.
