Mid-Atlantic Christian University, Elizabeth City, N.C., has signed a memorandum of understanding with Rwanda Challenge and Africa Hope Initiatives to offer an accredited associate degree in Bible and ministry to the people of Rwanda and other East African nations. A year ago, Rwanda Challenge director Frank Reynolds approached MACU and shared the need for such a degree. In 2023, Rwandan law will require all ministers to have an accredited associate degree in ministry. Through discussions, the three groups arrived at a solution for providing the necessary degree at an affordable cost. Students will take the majority of the courses online,

Harmony Christian Church, Georgetown, Ky., attempted to live up to its name Friday night by hosting a drive-in watch party to view a football game between crosstown rivals Scott County High School and Great Crossing High School. Fans of both teams attended. Last year the game was viewed in-person by 7,000 spectators, but attendance restrictions due to COVID-19 this year meant only two tickets were allotted per each participating student, the News-Graphic reported. The free drive-in featured livestreaming of the game projected onto a giant inflatable screen set up behind the church. Cars could tune into the local radio broadcast

Clark brings more than 30 years of ministry experience to the job, including 13 years as a lead church planter. Clark has served as lead minister with Agape Church of Christ since planting it in 2006. As contractors removed a plaque that marked the cornerstone of the building, they discovered a Bible, a copy of the local newspaper from 1958, a church bulletin, and a history of the church written by then pastor Glen E. Hull. The Eastern New Mexico News tracked down Hull, 86, who now lives in Florissant, Mo., with his wife of 62 years, Inez. CCC was Hull’s first ministry. “You always go back to your first ministry.
