Ministry Training & Resource Site to Open Near Cincinnati in Fall

The Christian Church Leadership Center is slated to open this fall in Northern Kentucky. The CCL Center will serve as the hub of ministry education and church support in the Greater Cincinnati area through the work of the Russell School of Ministry and the CCL Network. The center will also house a library that provides biblical, ministry, and historical resources for churches and Christian leaders. Plus, it will be home to the Christian Church Leadership Foundation. New Churches Planted in Texas and California

Two new churches have started in recent weeks. Venture Christian Church, Katy, Texas, held a four-week grand opening from Jan. 20 to Feb. 10 and saw 151 different people come to its services.  Lead planter Nathan Boldt wrote that Venture’s intent is to “reach people with no connection to a church.” He added, “If I were to share one stat, it would be that about 80 percent of our crowd are unchurched. . . . New Building for Churchill Meadows

This past Sunday, Churchill Meadows Christian Church (Mississauga, Ontario) celebrated the grand opening of their new building. Senior minister Jim Tune and his wife, Claudia, planted CMCC in 2001 and the church broke ground on the building in June 2008. The project””Church Development Fund“s first international loan””will provide the first permanent facility for Churchill Meadows, which has grown to be the largest independent Christian church in Canada.

A Constructive Way to Help Churches

It”s almost dinnertime, and church members are preparing and serving a meal to the volunteers working on the framing of CCC”s new building.
