Central Christian Church

Central Christian Church is an Independent Christian Church in Mount Vernon, Ohio, located at 17833 Gambier Rd. The church has served the Mount Vernon area for more than 50 years and describes itself as ordinary people who follow an extraordinary God.

Sunday morning worship meets at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, with nursery through 6th grade classes available during both services. Central Christian Church is a non-denominational New Testament church that believes Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, follows the Bible as God’s Word, practices baptism by immersion, and observes weekly communion.

The church’s mission includes bringing people to Jesus, baptizing them into Him, building people to maturity, connecting people in fellowship, supporting people through life’s struggles, and blessing the Lord in worship. Central Christian Church offers adult ministry, youth ministry, children’s ministry, small groups, missions, online messages, giving, and a monthly food pantry.
