About
Church In the Valley is a Christian congregation in Peninsula, Ohio, located at 2241 Everett Rd. The church serves the Cuyahoga Valley and Summit County area with a ministry focused on worship, Scripture, prayer, small groups, and Christian fellowship.
Church In the Valley gathers for Sunday Bible Study at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m. The church describes itself as a safe place to grow, ask questions, and pursue the truth of God’s Word. Its worship is simple, with hymns and songs centered on the Lord, along with praise, prayer, and preaching.
The congregation’s story reaches back to Everett Church of Christ, formed in 1891. After a 1908 fire, the current chapel was built, and the congregation later became known as The Church in the Valley. Today, the church offers Sunday gatherings, men’s and women’s groups, small group Bible studies, midweek dinner and Bible study, and opportunities for people to grow closer to Christ together.
