About
Clinton Christian Church has a history of Christian ministry and community service in Clinton, Tennessee. Established in 1973, the congregation was founded by Neal and Dorothy “Dot” Clapp and became part of the Christian Church and Restoration Movement tradition in East Tennessee.
The church’s ministry has included Christian fellowship, local outreach, and support for organizations serving families throughout Anderson County. Its commitment to community care was demonstrated in 2021 when the congregation contributed proceeds from the sale of its former property to charitable and community organizations across the region.
One notable contribution was a $50,000 donation to Clinton City Schools to help support children in need. This act of generosity reflected the congregation’s longstanding connection with its community and its desire to make a meaningful difference beyond the church building.
