Community Christian Church

Community Christian Church is a Christian congregation located at 210 East 117th Street in East Harlem, New York City. Founded in 1991 by Jeff and Laurie Butler, the church serves a multiethnic and multigenerational community with a focus on helping people find and follow Jesus Christ.

The congregation gathers at The Talent, its ministry location in East Harlem. Sunday worship services meet from 10:00 to 11:10 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:40 PM. Gatherings include contemporary worship music, prayer, communion, a children’s moment, and biblical preaching.

Children’s ministry and nursery care are available during the 11:30 AM service. The church also offers Sunday discipleship classes, including adult Bible studies and a youth group for middle and high school students.

Community Christian Church emphasizes discipleship relationships, Christian fellowship, and practical service within its neighborhood. Small groups and mentoring opportunities help members develop relationships, study Scripture, and encourage one another in Christian living.

The church’s leadership includes Lead Pastor Shannon McCready and Worship Leader Isaac McCready.

Through worship, teaching, and community engagement, Community Christian Church seeks to equip people to share their faith and serve others in East Harlem and beyond.
