(From our series “The Best or Worst Advice I’ve Ever Received.”)
Twenty-five years ago, I had a short conversation with Dr. Calvin Phillips. It was in the hallway outside the chapel at Emmanuel Christian Seminary. He congratulated me on being named the president of TCM. I asked him if he had any advice on how to remain passionate about fund-raising. I”ll never forget his answer. He said, “Tony, you have to really believe in what you are doing.”
He was right.
Tony Twist serves as president of TCM International Institute.
