Haitian Christian Outreach, also known as HCO, is a Christian mission organization based in Kokomo, Indiana, with ministry work in Haiti. Its churches are known as Emmanuel Christian Churches, and the organization reports that RoRo and Eline Eustache have planted eight Emmanuel Christian Churches led by Haitian pastors. The organization operates through four main ministry areas. Church planting supports Haitian pastors and local congregations. Education includes six Emmanuel Christian Schools serving more than 1,600 students from preschool through secondary school with academic instruction, spiritual guidance, and meals. Health care is centered on Peredo Community Hospital, which provides quality medical care in southeast Haiti through services such as emergency care, surgery, general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, pediatrics, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, and basic labs.
A distinctive part of Haitian Christian Outreach’s work is integrating evangelism, Haitian-led leadership development, education, medical care, and community development into one long-term ministry strategy. Its community development work includes clean water projects, disaster relief, economic development, rabbit-raising projects, and sports evangelism that mentors children and teens in leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
