Ignite Church Planting is a church-planting ministry dedicated to bringing hope to Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana by starting new churches. Possibilities reflects Ignite’s emphasis on innovation—adapting methods and strategies to effectively reach diverse people groups in a complex, modern metro environment.

A major emphasis of Ignite is supporting church planters through a practical, structured pathway. Their planter care includes funding, assessment, coaching, and mentoring, with the goal of placing leaders into ministry contexts where they have the best chance to thrive. Ignite describes using pre-assessment materials, behavioral interviews, and an assessment process to help evaluate fit, readiness, and gifting for church planting. After launching, planters receive ongoing coaching and guidance from experienced leaders who have started and grown churches in the region.

Ignite also promotes collaborative involvement for churches and individuals—inviting supporters to engage through prayer, giving, and participation.
