The organization operates through an artisan program and related development projects. RecycloCraftz works with artisans who handcraft products and receive fair-trade compensation for items that pass quality control. The organization says its artisans are trained in skills such as sewing, crocheting, beading, and other handmade production methods. Once products reach the United States, profits from sales go directly back into projects and programs in Zambia.
A distinctive part of RecycloCraftz’s work is turning discarded materials into fair-trade products while supporting long-term spiritual, educational, medical, financial, and family stability for artisans. Its holistic approach includes education, housing, medical care, nutrition, finances, vocational training, and discipleship. Its literacy development work includes Bible-centered reading curriculum and library access, including modified shipping containers used as a Biblical Studies library and a faith-based community library.
