Church Outreach Extends to Self-Service Laundries

A Call for Passionate Commitment

Fillinger Crossroads Christian Church (Corona, California), has grown from 5,400 to more than 8,400 in average worship attendance during Chuck Booher”s first four years, with annual growth rates of 17 to 21 percent. Beyond that, Crossroads has had the best baptism ratio among megachurches for three consecutive years. Church Opens Building as ‘Cooling Station’

CrossRoads Christian Church (Danville, IL) found a simple but practical way to serve the community by opening its building as a “cooling station.” Anyone who needed to escape the heat was invited to rest at the church anytime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. last Wednesday and Friday.
