The Christian camp has collected a million pennies from 26 churches during the past two months to help generate funds to acquire an additional 2.7 acres of land. In a letter to the university community, Milligan president Bill Greer announced the campus would remain dry, but “rather than restricting off-campus alcohol consumption among all traditional students, the college’s new policy allows our students to respect state law in terms of the legal age of consuming alcohol.” Greer wrote that the new policy demonstrates the university’s trust in students and allows them to learn personal responsibility as it pertains to alcohol use. “I can’t stress enough that the reason behind me recommending this policy change

The Kentucky church opened its “Christmas Shoppe,” where the church sells low-priced toys to families in need. Hundreds of toys were purchased by the church or donated to it. By Chris Moon  Church Planter Helps with Recovery in Dominican Republic Church planter Chris Hornbrook had to weather the storm last fall in his mission work in the Dominican Republic. Hornbrook is working to start a church-planting movement on the Caribbean island and watched as Hurricane Maria spun by, doing significant damage to the region.
