CCL Foundation — Organization Profile
CCL Foundation is the short name commonly used for The Christian Church Leadership Foundation (CCLF), a nonprofit that exists to help build stronger churches, teach scriptural knowledge, and train skilled leaders. The foundation serves as an umbrella organization supporting multiple ministry expressions that share a common focus on strengthening leaders and congregations within the Christian Church / Restoration Movement stream.
Rather than operating as a single-program organization, CCLF describes its work as “One Team | Many Ministries.” Its connected ministries include the Christian Church Leadership Network (CCL Network), the Elliott Library and Museum, and ministry-education initiatives connected to the Russell School of Ministry. Together, these efforts combine practical training, leadership development, and educational resources aimed at helping ministers and churches thrive.
Through the CCL Network, the foundation supports coaching, cohorts, and training opportunities designed for real-life ministry settings. Examples of CCL Network services include Level Up Preaching Cohorts, Healthy Church Co-Ops, Bridge Ministry Training, and Disciple-Making Training, along with webinars and media that address ministry leadership challenges and church health topics. These offerings are structured to provide both skill development and relational support for pastors and ministry leaders.
CCLF also supports access to ministry resources through the Elliott Library and Museum, preserving and making available materials that serve ministry leaders, students, and researchers. Alongside that resourcing role, the foundation’s ministry-education connections help sustain pathways for theological learning and leadership formation, especially in the greater Cincinnati region and through extension-site collaboration.
The foundation emphasizes partnership with individuals and churches who provide ongoing financial support for the work. CCLF invites partners to give generally to support the overall operation or to designate gifts toward specific ministry areas such as the CCL Network, the library, or ministry education initiatives. It also encourages engagement through prayer, hosting ministry updates, and inviting the team to share the work with elders, mission teams, or congregations.
CCL Foundation’s operational hub is connected to the Christian Church Leadership Center in Florence, Kentucky, and it serves churches and leaders across the United States through training, coaching, media, and ministry resourcing. People can engage by participating in CCL Network services, connecting with partner ministries, giving financially, and partnering in prayer for the leaders and churches being served.
