Ministry Training & Resource Site to Open Near Cincinnati in Fall

by | 9 June, 2020 | 0 comments

The Christian Church Leadership Center is slated to open this fall in Northern Kentucky.

The CCL Center will serve as the hub of ministry education and church support in the Greater Cincinnati area through the work of the Russell School of Ministry and the CCL Network. The center will also house a library that provides biblical, ministry, and historical resources for churches and Christian leaders. Plus, it will be home to the Christian Church Leadership Foundation.

The Russell School of Ministry and Central Christian College of the Bible, Moberly, Mo., will offer courses at the CCL Center, 8095 Connector Drive in Florence, Ky. The 14,000-square-foot facility previously served as a branch campus of a university.

The site is located just south of Cincinnati and has convenient access to the region’s airport, dining, shopping, churches, and affordable housing. The CCL Center will be a regional and national resource for Cincinnati Christian University alumni and friends to engage with multiple ministries that strengthen churches and leaders.

Crews will be cleaning, remodeling, and refitting the site over the summer with the goal of a fall grand opening.

“The CCLF is now seeking individuals and churches to come alongside us in this vital work as Friends of the Center, providing monthly support to help us maintain this facility as we train future church leaders for generations to come,” said CCLF president David Fincher.

Churches and individuals who are interested in learning how they can utilize and participate in the work of the CCL Center may contact Shawn McMullen, vice president of partner relations, at [email protected] or (513) 273-1099. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/thecclf. To become a friend of the center, visit www.ccleadership.org.

The nonprofit Christian Church Leadership Foundation started as Cincinnati Christian University was closing after fall semester. The CCLF operates in partnership with Central Christian College of the Bible to steward key ministry assets that formerly were part of CCU, namely the Russell School of Ministry, CCL Network, and the George Mark Elliott Library.
