Louisville Bible College President Tom Mobley Dies (Plus News Briefs)

Compiled by Jim Nieman and Chris Moon Dr. Tom Mobley, 70, president of Louisville Bible College, died Monday morning at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Ky., the city in which he lived. “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that Louisville Bible College received word earlier this morning that Dr. Tom Mobley has passed away,” LBC wrote on its Facebook page. “We are eternally grateful and appreciative of his ministry at Louisville Bible College. By Justin Horey Area 10 Faith Community was established in the fall of 2008 in Richmond, Virginia—a city incorporated in 1742. (The church takes its name from the designation local Realtors have for downtown Richmond.) Changing Who Waits

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world” (James 1:27, English Standard Version). Church Cancels Services, Urges Members to Help Neighbors

In anticipation of this past weekend”s East Coast hurricane, Mountain Christian Church senior pastor Ben Cachiaras asked the congregation to be the church instead of going to church.
