Dean C. Collins, President of Point University, announces his plan to retire at the conclusion of the current academic year.
Point University is partnering with hundreds of Chick-fil-A operators to provide a low-cost, online college education to the restaurant chain’s employees. The effort looks as if it will double Point’s online enrollment. “It’s already a game-changer,” said Dean Collins, Point's president.

By Chris Moon Restoration Movement colleges are putting plans in place for reopening their campuses this fall amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While most are planning a return to in-person instruction, in many cases the “normal” classroom experience is being modified. Johnson University in Knoxville, Tenn., recently created a planning guide for its fall semester. The school will have students meet regularly in the classroom, but it also is bolstering its online content so that classroom time can be more limited and focused on discussion and skill development. The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities published an article on “Enrollment Success Stories” that features two of our Restoration Movement colleges: Point University in West Point, Ga., and William Jessup University in Rocklin, Calif.
